Trump: The First Year

School is the only thing that hasn’t changed much since the way it was over a hundred years ago. If corporations didn’t adapt over time they’d go bankrupt.

Especially with the Flynn effect + technology of iPads etc, the format of school isn’t keeping up with the rest of the world

He wont get impeached it will just be 2 years of twitter rants and nonesense… No wall no ban, maybe some crappy health care…Both Fox, CNN, MSNBC will spend 98% of time covering him… Then yr 3 starts he will just campaign and hold rallys for turds…Yr 4 some other dude steps in thats not a complete choad… To answer your question yes I have a crystal ball

@thunderbolt23:

From the article you posted:

ā€œā€¦A consistent theme, the sources said, was the concern about whether the President would accept the advice of his lawyers and refrain from public statements and tweets that have consistently undercut his positionā€¦ā€

ā€œThe concerns were, "The guy won’t pay and he won’t listenā€¦ā€™ā€

Wow…

And let me add that if (and its a BIG if)…IF he doesn’t self-destruct…we will see 2 terms.

Trump could be seen on Tape killing puppies and giving reach-arounds you Russian Boy-Toys, and his Base Support wouldn’t waver.

The Left needs to learn something the Right hasn’t learned either…attacking what you don’t like will never work…you better have a viable set of plans that positively affects people Lives and their pocket book.

I believe it was @anon50325502 who posted it, but I am not at all surprised at these comments or the other ones in the article. Why work your ass off only to not be listened to, with the added bonus of being publicly humiliated that you’re not being listened to? And on top of that you’re rightly concerned about not getting paid? In light of that scenario, the only reason to look past those risks is if there’s a chance you get a big reputational boost from the engagement of representing the President. No such reputational boost exists.

Didn’t Trump listen when it came time to fire Flynn, Manafort and Leandowski?

Didn’t he stop pushing for Apple to release info on the terrorists iPhone after it was deemed unpopular?

Only once it was plastered all over the news and/or multiple sources close to him (his kids) pressured him.

This has nothing to do with why top Law Firms are hesitant to represent him.

Better call ā€œMy Cousin Vinnyā€¦ā€

Yeah perception vs reality

Did Trump listen to generals when he fired missiles into Syria or do you think it was completely his idea?

I understood the Syria strike was his idea, while the others were not. However, this is not a valid comparison. At all.

raj…this is not perception.

Trump has consistently undermined his position and/or that of his Staff and Cabinet by Tweeting ,not listening…AND by not heeding their advice. That’s not debatable.

He is also VERY good at ā€œDick-Wavingā€ and I’ve admitted that several times. Dumping more than 100 million Dollars of very expensive hardware on an Airfield that was used the next day is right up his alley.

Just so we are clear, of the dozens and dozens of decisions spanning multiple competencies, you believe he complely ignores experts and advisors?

You also think this was the case as a builder of hotels?

Lol @ tweeting

I love how butthurt his tweeting makes his critics feel

Ask Atlantic City that question.

Initially, yes, if they question his judgement (firing someone he hired). Something needs to hit him upside the head first (reality).

Again, not even remotely comparable to being president.

…and Ireland…

Of course it’s relevant - building hotels requires negotiation skills, listening to a whole assortment of advisors from construction to finance to zoning.

Yep. Which is why they had gold plated elevator panels but hurtled into bankruptcy.
