Trump: The First Year

Yeah, agreed.

I sincerely apologize if that wasn’t obvious. No way I’d wish cancer on anyone.

Apparently sarcasm is lost upon the internet sometimes.

Sorry you feel this way about John McCann but even as a democrat I have great respect for McCann even though we have disagreed on many issues. He is truly an American hero and a patriot who deserves respect. While the current occupant in the White House was dodging the draft because his bunions or something and having his own personal Vietnam by dodging VD(his words) McCann was fighting for his country. He was a POW who could have been released earlier without his men but he decided to stay with his men.
Trump can’t hold McCanns jock!

Obvious to whom? If one needs to be a citizen then they have to prove they are a citizen. The proof that natural born citizens provide will be different from naturalized citizens. Besides, as a senator he would be privy to top secret information so they would need to do an extensive background check. Security clearances aren’t given out based on how long you lived here.

So you are agreeing he didn’t have any substance behind his ideas.

Right, McCain deserved to be belittled for being a FUCKING POW from an assclown that used at least 5 draft deferments to get out of serving because his pinky toe was hurting him or was it his vagina, I can’t remember?

Get the fuck outta here. I can’t stand John McCain the politician. He needs to go, but he doesn’t “deserve” an ounce of shit for serving his country for his entire life.

It was bone spurs I believe. It’s funny because I have a heel spur but it didn’t keep me from serving. There were even soldiers who had asthma.

I’m all ears.

More specifically to this one. I spent roughly 90 seconds doing some research just now. Through the process, running for public office requires a unique ID number given to you after proving your identity.

Any and all questioning of whether or not Obama was a citizen post election announcement was pure garbage spewed by people incapable of the slightest amount of common sense and fact finding (ie, retardspeak - I haven’t used this word to describe the birther movement before today, but I’m really getting attached to it)

Yeah I know, I had bone spurs in high school and still ran track. It’s a temporary condition.

Not for a man like him, anyway. Having his head carried around the village on the end of a stick would be more fitting.

What has John McCain done to deserve Cancer or to have is head removed from his body and paraded around the village? This I’m dying to hear.

But you just said there is likely no hard proof.

If you can’t prove treason, and there is no doubt that is what that charge is, then maybe don’t charge it.

That’s all I’m saying.

So… Then would you then say you don’t really know when someone is engaging in “retardspeak” or not?

So now he’s racist again? Which is it?

So much respect you can’t bring yourself to know how to spell his name?

PArdon me while I now ignore everything else you’ve said, because it sounds like a lot of talking points.

Yeah, he served and was a POW… How many lives has he cost the world and this country with his Foreign Policy in the last 30 years?

ANd the left’s sudden love for the warmonger is nothing short of political football.

The vast majority of the civilized world who didn’t in fact believe in the birther nonsense Hillary’s camp started.

When do senators do this?

Which committees was he one that required those types of security clearances? Or does each and every potential senator undergo these during elections?

You’ve changed your goal posts from has no ideas, to no substance behind them.

I’d say, A lot of his ideas are shit, but I’d say both your assessments are incorrect.

When trump sends as many of our men and women into harms way, advocates for as many military interventions and arms as many “moderate” terrorists as McCain then the chicken hawk stick will be more effective.

Yes, It’s unfortunate he had to suffer at the hands of the enemy like he did, and a applaud his fortitude and devotion to his men, I don’t even blame him for giving up intel to get brought to the hospital. Most humans would do so.

However, you’d think that torture would reshape the way he war mongered in the senate. It didn’t, so fuck him.

Yeah, actually he does.

Yes. Walls/immigration, Tax reform, ACA fix/replace/repeal, less regulation, and getting reelected.

Obviously pandering to his base who would more likely than not agree with him that “one of these days an owner is going to say…” Plus the anthem protests don’t really poll all that well, so it’s a calculated play to a) keep his name in the press, which helped him win in the first place and b) score some points with his base and maybe a few fence sitters.

Yes, because that is something that should be rushed, and should have been completed by last Thursday… Come on dude.

No you’re just being a partisan. It’s currently in process and would be remiss to NOT work with the left on it.

no. republicans are only fiscally conservative in campaign speeches. Not in actual governance. This is not the first or last time this won’t be proven.

Empty promise, bullshitting, whatever. Very typical stump speech bullshit from people trying to run for office.

Trying to copy Obama’s travel ban, but getting it shut down. Trying to get healthcare bills through, trying to get his tax plans through. Kicking subsidy payments down to congress like he should.

Oh, and saying the same dumb shit he said to get elected in hopes he gets reelected.

These are republicans you’re talking about… How did you expect it to go?

Nope.

Yeah, I saw that after I posted.

So now that we’ve established when one engages in “retardspeak” re: asking about citizenship, what are the other approved questions that can be asked of a candidate?

As I said before, it’s not a question of “approved” questions. You can certainly ask any question you want. Doesn’t mean all questions have the same level of intelligence (or lack thereof in this case) behind them.

This is America, you (collective you) are free to ask any questions you want. The rest of us (collective us) will continue to use those questions as insight for how mind numbingly worthlessly stupid the people are IRL.

In short, you can ask someone whether or not fish can breath while swimming in lava, but the rest of us are going to continue to think you’re a moron for even asking.

You’re missing the point. Hate McCain for his political choices. No issue with me what so ever. Hate him for being a hawk, whatever. Again, I don’t care.

That is not what Trump did. He literally belittled the man for becoming a prisoner of war. The man has served this country since he entered the Naval Acadamy in 1954. He was sent to Vietnman he didn’t choose to go fight there and he spent 5 fucking years in a prison camp and Donald Trump, a guy who was born with a gold spoon in his fat little face has the audacity to make fun of the fact that he was captured while running to be THE COMMANDER IN FUCKING CHIEF.

Sorry, not sorry, that shit doesn’t sit well with me.

Cool story, bro.

That’s not an agenda. That’s not even a tweet.

Zero progress has been made on the dumb wall.

No, it really isn’t. Almost no progress has been made on tax reform. We’ll be lucky if it is even a real conversation in the next 6-12 months.

Again, sorry, not sorry I expect politicans to do what they say.

Obviously better than this.

And that’s fine. But no reason to blow undeserved smoke up McCain’s ass here.

The man suffered more than most in this world, but turned around and sent enumerable number of young men to early graves, for the same damn policy he just gave a speech condemning trump for…

Finding it hard to like the dude, like ever in my life, not even when he “played for my team”.

Wow dude. Do I have to outline it in paragraphs for you to admit reality?

Completely untrue

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-wall/border-wall-prototypes-a-first-small-step-on-trump-campaign-promise-idUSKBN1CT007

On top of the fact it’s been reported as part of a bargaining chip in other deals he’s tried to work out…

Outline has been released, which is an important step. It’s complete with some total horseshit and political impossibilities to give room for compromise and Sanders/Cruz debated tax policy last week.

You’re wrong here.

Already a real conversation. Tim Scott has been posting about it on facebook for awhile, Chuck Shumer has already posted his communist propaganda against it as well.

The journal has written about it, and think tanks are already in spin mode…

Lol, then you will continue to be disappointed. Not sure what else to say here.

I agree with you, but I also understand the reality. And the reality is, even if he was to complete 100% of his promises, which he won’t, no one will, it’d take more than 10 months to do it.

They are a dumpster fire of a party.

The good news is, the left appears to be shifting further and further left at a faster and more drastic rate than the right is shifting right. So, as the continue this devolution into post modernist nonsense like tripling down on identity politics and communism, with their fascist muscle groups orwellianly named “antifa”, the right might be able to pick up enough moderates and reasonable people left that can help bring the party full circle.

But let’s not forget the Right already had their moment like what the left is having, minus the communism and antifa thugs beating people for having “retardspeak” opinions, and have to navigate tea party types, etc.

I don’t know what type of background check a senator goes through but I was checked by the FBI when I served in the military and I wasn’t privy to anything that a senator would see.

Lol, man, you’re still missing the point. I brought McCain up as an example of how Trump has treated servicemembers, veterans, Gold Star families, etc… because you said I was acting partisan. It has nothing at all what-so-ever to do with blowing smoke up McCain’s ass.

I don’t even like John McCain. I don’t even like him a little bit.

Has Trump’s team even put a whole paragraph out on these topics?

You are intelligent enough to know the difference between having an actionable agenda and having a few bullet points for the masses to chew on.

Wow, some protoypes 9 months later. Serious progress. How is he going to pay for them?

Wow, 10 months and we get an outline. Maybe by 2019 we’ll get a first draft of a bill…

You and I must define progress differently.

Lol. Facebook now = real conversation…

Probably

We’ve been over this man. Mexico is paying for it.
