What are the death rates with old in nursing homes? Maybe not half but it’s higher that the general population. My point is that most in our government are old.

A little under 20% where I work, but its going to vary depending on their health conditions. Some were almost dead before but still survived somehow.

I know more than a few. My point is that the “rules” are not actually effective at preventing the spread of the virus, but they are effective at increasing the number of deaths from starvation well beyond what the virus is doing.

I’m not sure how this isn’t positive for Trump to be honest. You’re going to see a slight bump for him here I think. It keeps him from again losing future debates and his approval rating has always climbed when he goes through brief periods of not talking as much.

The last month of the election is the busiest. How could a candidate being in the hospital, off the campaign trail, be a positive thing?

Now the news is focusing on the coronavirus- not a good topic for Trump, considering the death toll - and Trump isn’t talking at all let alone about the stories he would rather talk about, like Hunter Biden, deep state, Sleepy Joe, “still gonna get Mexico to pay for the wall” etc.

“The president might die, so who is next in line?” is not a good topic for the president during his reelection campaign.

Here is someone with instant access to all the best testing, and with the best medical care in the world, the best personal security in the world, and a team of staff at his command, and he still can’t even keep his own workplace safe. He can’t even guard his own health, let alone protect the public (job #1 for any president). It indicates carelessness and a lack of competence.

Not at all. Although there probably are more WH cases than NZ cases right now (haven’t checked the current numbers in NZ). Historically they nailed the virus through the last few months.

As we know there are people who follow a number of the"rules" for a portion of the time and liars.

Anecdotally, I don’t follow all the rules all the time and I am about twice as compliant as anyone I know, even the ones that shit on anyone who doesn’t cover their ass with a mask when they fart.

Well, CNN says he likely caught it during the Supreme Court Announcement, which was on the 26th of last month. Which means he’s probably remained mostly asymptomatic about half a week past the mean incubation period. I think he’ll be fine.

It knows it can’t straight up murder a President and not be charged with the crime, so it does it slowly. Let’s say Trump dies in 15 or 20 years. But you’re wrong - the rules definitely help. You’re pointing out instances where the rules weren’t 100% effective at prevention. That doesn’t mean the rules are 0% effective, per my statement above.

I’m not so sure we should assume away that the Deep State didn’t create a virus in a lab specifically engineered to attack Republicans.

It couldn’t possibly be that the vast majority of Democrats and liberal-ish types (and sympathizers) take the scientific guidance seriously, don’t want to be responsible for getting other people sick so they are conservative and cautious in their approach to interaction (the lost art of compassion), and don’t have a collective “little man” syndrome that requires them to “look tough” by not wearing masks.
