Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 2)

Ships and tankers have turned off their transponders while navigating thru the strait of hormuz

For the U.S.A. this does matter, a little bit of pain in the economy for long term gain is worth taking head of the snake off with a shovel blade

He said it.

Well, he also mentions Rubio so, 4 people.

Do you all just parrot the latest talking points by the admin on FOX?

That shit is pathetic.

I don’t really put a lot of weight on what Trump says, even about himself.

He’s so incoherent and just throws thoughts out without much thinking.

Tomorrow it was 6 people, or 28, or maybe he made the decision alone.

That’s why I asked how it goes by the law. Who can start a war? It can’t be just one individual, can it? You’re not Russia.

Trump ordered the strikes, Congress didn’t declare war or authorize the military action, the War Powers resolution failed, so Trump continues to do what he wants.

Yeah. The analyst I read a report from estimated something like a 17% drop. Not enough to bring them to a grinding halt but certainly enough to effect cost and downstream economic impacts, which plays back in to economic diplomacy.

But there’s still strikes going on. Can POTUS just do that kind of stuff? That’s kinda fucked up.

No.

There is a powerful cabal, but it isn’t just jews.

Yes, I want pedophiles and corrupt pieces of shit targeted and destroyed. Otherwise, I just want government to fuck off and leave me alone.

Yes, a little bit of pain in an economy already $39 trillion in debt. Hey, lets do another war and drive that up some more! It is only just $1 billion a day - no biggie.

Hey why not some more billions for Israel too while we are at it.

Hey clown…no president has declared war since 1942

you have no idea what you spout except your severe TDS issues

That nobody will ever be able to get under control…be realistic

The

War Powers Resolution of 1973 (often called the War Powers Act) is a federal law restricting the U.S. President’s power to commit armed forces into hostilities without Congressional approval. Enacted over President Nixon’s veto following the Vietnam War, it requires notification within 48 hours and limits troop deployment to 60 days without statutory authorization or declaration of war

And what’s the situation with current conflict?

They are 11 days into the conflict. They are not yet to 60 days.

Yeah. Just figured that out. So the war needs to end before that. Let’s see how things develop. Iran seems ready to go on a while, at least rhetorically.

I need to add that it still bothers me. One person can do such a decision.

If the USA had to wait for Congress to start any military action, that is a significant advantage to the enemy.

The USA has the largest weapon that the President has sole authority to initiate its use. The Nuclear Football. Just how ridiculous it would be to give that to Congress. Time would be at a premium. A quick decision is the treat of mutual destruction that makes it fearsome to the enemies of the USA. The USA could be victim to a couple waves of nuclear attacks before Congress would acknowledge a true danger had happened.

I understand the case with nukes and with defensive wars (I suspect POTUS don’t even need to lift a finger if USA would be assaulted, there are procedures for that in every country).

But for invasions and War of Agression it’s more tricky.

That is a great way to look at our nation’s finances. Do you work for Congress?

The war powers act has never been ruled to even be constitutional, has it?
