Out of curiosity, if (pick your favorite country) decided that there is a substantial faction (again, pick your favorite) in the US and decided to gift us with a suprise military campaign that gave us the opportunity to rise up and change the regime, how do you think we would act?
Yeah . . . has that ever worked out? We’ve tried that ad nauseum.
If they have the stomach to carry it out until the desired outcome occurs, it will work. They will find it more difficult to rebuild their missile and nuclear development every cycle. Every cycle will be like one step forward, followed by 10 steps back. That will quickly become disheartening.
It is obviously desired, but that’s different than clearly communicating to the American public that we have specific objectives for this military operation.
How it all plays out is anyone’s guess, but right now it appears quite different than Iraq or Afghanistan. We just decapitated the regime in 24 hours, but the public has no idea if that particular medusa has enough heads to spring up and prevent some kind of popular overthrow.
What you’re missing is that those were all wars conducted by the uniparty, making all of the usual suspects very wealthy. Whatever Trump is, he doesn’t seem to be part of the old guard Republican neocons and he’s certainly not a woke Democrat.
I suppose we’ll learn in the coming weeks if this is another boondoggle or a continuation of Trump’s pattern of success. It also bears mentioning that between Venezuela and Iran we’re SERIOUSLY messing with China’s oil supply that would be needed for a prolonged invasion of Taiwan.
They seemed pretty clear to me. Those are all measurable outcomes, not some murky ideas that can mean anything. Obviously what happens in Iran will be a factor in how this operation is going to be judged, but there’s no way for any of us to possibly predict that.
He’s the president right now, despite an unprecedented campaign against his election. He clearly demonstrated how easy it is for the federal government to control immigration. He successfully purged woke from our most vital institution - the military. I could go on and on, but don’t let that stop you from believing that Trump is an orange buffoon, a fascist dictator in waiting, or whatever other conception of him that you have.
He’s been proving a lot of people wrong for a really long time now.
Iran has isolated itself. They don’t have a friend by their own doing. Use only surgical strikes that destroy military systems.
Being back Persia. Get rid of the religious zealots that are trying to bring in the kingdom of the world whether the world wants it or not. This is the wrong dispensation for bringing in the Kingdom of Heaven.
During this dispensation, no country totally controlled by a religion should have a military capable of military aggression, especially if they have any history of using their military for aggression.
I feel that that offending religion should be forced out of political control of that country. We should not allow the effort of removing that religion’s leadership to wear us out. We should hammer them until they surrender control of that country.
IMO, we should not do so “with boots on the ground” as that seems to consistently turn sour.
I don’t know if I would call it smart, because they gave any intellectual thought. It had become a core belief. That is why they left England. They didn’t want to live under a church state any longer.
There is a subtle difference. The Jews following the Bible might believe that they are called to bring in the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven left them when the cherubim removed the glory of God from them.
The nation of Israel was promised a land that they shall own. The Zionist are trying to attain their land that the LORD has promised them. They will not be given that land until the Millennial Kingdom, which Jesus will take by force.
The Jews that believe the scripture only want the land that they were promised. They do not want any other land. That is how they differ from any other religions who has tried or is trying to take the Kingdom of Heaven by force.
Since Stephen was stoned the Kingdom of Heaven has been removed from play. The Church is here during the time that the Kingdom of God is in play. It is a spiritual kingdom and not a physical kingdom. It cannot be taken by force.
I had considered that too. Like during the Minneapolis protests this year or the George Floyd riots China send in a team and kills the president and then tells us, “you’re welcome. Now you can take your country back.” It’d make a good SNL type skit.
