What in the everloving fuck is this bullshit? On multiple levels.
In the middle of a pandemic when non-essential travel is highly discouraged, a judge has granted special permission for a known and charged insurrectionist to fly out of the country to a mexican resort vacation with her husband, which (btw) she will be able to write off as a business tax deduction!!!
Will you be having a big move to Canada, before transferring to Santa Barbara?
Got a bro in law there, if you need a base to search out your own mini castle.
Not just yet, but we’re only a few months away, so I’m happy enough to use the nomenclature .
Herself is currently changing jobs to a media insurance company with a few different international offices, and my current crowd’s head office are based in PA, so we’ll see what happens!
Is there a point? If one assaults someone and that person ends up having a deadly stroke it might not be murder but, the person can be charged with manslaughter and/or negligent homicide.
In this case the issue seems to be more about who to charge than what to charge.
That’s not the way I read it. It reads like they’re desperately searching for any way to charge someone, and still coming up empty-handed. Autopsy results not in yet though, from my understanding.
Edit: I directed that towards a poster who bought the fire extinguisher story hook, line, and sinker, for a reason. It wasn’t meant to refute the idea that someone else could possibly have played some role in the guy’s death.
The one where someone threw a fire extinguisher over some sort of barrier? I saw that as well.
It seems investigators believe reports he was struck by a fire extinguisher are false. I’d imagine that if he’d been in that group of Officers, it would be known-that’s a pretty widely available video clip, but they’ve been unable to determine when he may have been injured.
Yeah. Subdural hematoma and other types of brain injury can be tough to put your finger on.
An old buddy of mine was with a bunch of people who were leaving a bar/restaurant and slipped on the edge of a step, falling and hitting his head on a step behind the one he slipped on. Then got up, dusted off and was banged up but didn’t know how bad.
On his way to the car the police spotted him, as he appeared drunk. They arrested him as he told them he wasn’t even drinking, but that literally is what everybody says. Into the drunk tank with him!
But while there, his brain continued to bleed and he fell into a deep coma as the blood compressed his brain and later clotted up in the blood vessels of the affected area- effectively destroying a large part of his brain as he laid there for hours.
The cops just thought he was passed out and that they were right for arresting him, until the next day when they found him unresponsive/comatose.
Anyhoo, point being, brain bleeds are tricky sometimes.
I’d imagine that someone will be charged, even if there is no “right person.” If all they can find is that a female child slapped his knee, she’ll be charged. The narrative requires it.
Do you want to be part of another mob that just make sure it exacts a toll, or would you rather our system of justice works, at least to the best of its ability?
Yeah I got you I was just having fun sorry it wasn’t obvious. Of course I would rather it works and even though I think these people should all be charged for attempting to carry out a coup even if they were brainwashed by the President no one should be charged for anything they didn’t do.
I tend to think they were all just a bunch of short sighted human trash pandas.
Charging them all with heavy federal crimes is like putting people in prison for smoking weed at a concert.
I’ve faced some serious time. It’s not good, and if I had been convicted, the punishment would not have fit the crime.
Now for the poor guy we were discussing and who ever is responsible for his death-Absolutely throw the book at him or her. But make sure it’s the right him or her.
