His accomplishments are his, not gonna take that away from him, but he has definitely changed professions and become a real politician.
These folks need to get the right message for once. The one they try to avoid like the plague:
Quit their lying duplicitous bullshit games. When thousands of people show up at your job and literally want to kick your ass, you fucked up. Not just once, but thousands of times.
And he’s one of them.
None of this past summer or this past week surprises me at all. All of these politicians have been lying and playing political games and theatrics for several years now and people are completely sick and angry about it.
This wouldn’t have happened if Trump still had his twitter. He’d have sallied forth, called him a fatso, and Kim would have retreated before the rapier wit of Donald John Trump.
Isn’t that the perfect reason to do it? Damn the GOP has fallen from the don’t negotiate with terrorists rhetoric of the early 2000’s. Now it’s “yikes we might anger that baby just keep shushing him.”
Crenshaw was on the Michael Berry show Friday and I was very impressed as I often am, with his take. If he chooses I can see a Senate seat or more in his future.
Well Jesus dude, it’s not like those two things are even in the same arena. Maybe if the Capitol was bombed and 2 city blocks were flattened we could talk.
I expect NK to start flexing in the next few months to see what they can get out of the incoming administration. Maybe get a nice clinton deal if they threaten us enough.
I didn’t make the comparison to say they were the same thing more about the scared response to show how the GOP has changed over time. Hell they talked about Benghazi for forever and demanded a million things and with this similar death count they are ready to move quickly.
Especially combined with the “we don’t want to do anything that will make Trump even more mad.”
They have been neutered. I don’t even think they have to invoke the 25th or anything. But if they don’t do it because they are fearful of the response of the President? That he might put the nation in danger? Then that means they absolutely should do it and they aren’t worth a damn if they don’t.
Completely agree. A lot can change for a politician in the blink of an eye (see Josh Hawley for current overnight example) but from what I’ve seen and read his political future is bright. Not to say I agree with everything (or even know) his stance on all but his online presence and speaking from what I’ve heard seem solid. Good service story never hurts.
