Any of you folks on some kind of TRT fly much? Any issues/experiences with travelling with gels or needles/vials? Do you carry them on like some folks do with insulin, or do you just keep it in checked baggage? Ever had any issues with security?
No carry on. Get a letter from your doctor explaining that the meds and needles are for a medical need.
I carry on T, HCG, HGH, needles and fly all over the world with zero issues. Keep them in an insulin pouch with a letter from your Dr and you’re good to go. I’ve been doing this for a couple of years and have never even been questioned. Remove the pouch with meds and needles and place it out separately so it doesn’t appear you’re trying to hide something. You’ll never have an issue.
Thanks.
For the record, I’m not on TRT but seriously considering. I’m just weighing options, pros/cons, etc.
It’s a big decision and travel is a fact of life if I want to put food on the table.
Airport security wants to see the prescription labels, not letters. The prescription label will have a date and your name on it. Never pack drugs in checked luggage… that is TSA advice as bags get lost. Bags also get things stolen from them.
