Since starting TRT I have not had to travel on a plane. We have a golf trip coming up next week and fly out Monday mid morning. My injection schedule is Monday and Thursday. Would I notice anything negative if I avoid the hassle and just leave my TRT at home. I can inject some extra on Monday… I usually get my bloods done right before my Thursday shot and my trough is still at 1100-1200 immediately prior to my next shot. If I am going to feel like garbage missing a shot I will bring it… but looking for input.
Personally, I have skipped injections to experience the effect. On weekly dosing, I went three weeks between injections. By the end of the second week, I could tell I missed a dose, but I was fine. By the end of the third week, I could really tell and the experiment was over.
These are long acting esters and it shouldn’t be a problem over one week. You’ll hear otherwise from some guys here, especially those doing daily or every other day dosing.
Some of the guys I see will absolutely freak out if they get off schedule, usually due to forgetting to call in a refill in time. They’ll come to the office to get it or we’ll make other arrangements to get it to them.
If I am you, I’d take extra on Monday and skip Thursday. That way you’ll still be hitting 340 yards off the tee…
I do dailies and I had a trip away from home. I did an entire 220mg shot instead of my dailies. Didnt miss a beat.
All you have to do is bring your prescription with you.
It’s very easy. I’ve never been hassled or questioned before, but did take an international trip before my ‘legal’ TRT days. I lasted two weeks before I started to notice anything, like @highpull laid out. So, either way you want to do it, you’ll prolly be fine. Since you’re playing golf, take it with you and get that PED boost!
I traveled by plane a couple years ago and brought my test with me and had no issue. Make sure your script is still on your bottle/box and you should be fine, as you’re legally able to have it. Having it with your carry-on may be an issue but in your luggage it shouldn’t.
I always have mine in my carryon and have never had an issue. I’m too afraid the loaders will steal my shit if its in the checked baggage.
I’ve flown dozens of times with my trt. I put the vial and needles in the tray they give for laptops and they never even look at it. HCG is a different story since it needs to be refrigerated. I run it year round but have to leave it at home for traveling.

Never thought about that and definitely could see that happening. I was on cream at the time and imagine most wouldn’t even bother with it not being in the common vial for injections.
Good to know, no issues with carry on.
