Hey everybody,
67 year old male on low dose of trt, plus Anastrazole and HCG for about 1 year. Throw in CJC 1295 every so often and feeling good. Just purchased MK 677 and was interested in some feedback on mixing sarms and trt. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks?
Mk is not a sarm.
Anyway, what are the goals and reasoning behind trying it?
I’m looking to increase my size and strength. Also I’m not sure if adding Mk to my trt regimen is harmful or not. Thanks for responding.
Not a SARM, but effective at what it does. I got some anxiety and very hungry taking it at night.
I heard taking it before bed helps with the hungry a little. Also concerned if this will impact my trt regimen. Thanks for responding!
I didnt get hunger from it, just some bloat. But i was super tired all the friggin time, year round.
At your age, i dont really know why wouldnt you add legit GH to your trt instead of some hippie bullshit like MK.
Yeah I heard that too, so I took it a night, but the anxiety was keeping me up. Not really anxiety, just like an amped-up feeling. Not good when trying to sleep.
Don’t think it’ll affect TRT at all
Thanks everyone!
Getting pharma grade GH is quite difficult and/or expensive for most people lol
After trying MK, I would rather do UGL (under ground lab, if OP doesn’t recognize that term) GH than research chemical company MK677. IMO, the benefit of MK is that it is “legal” (to buy, not to use).
57 year old, I’ve used MK677 as its cheap and in the UK its fine to be sold but not for human consumption and legal to take (as far as I can see) (but obviously not recommended, seems a bit like steroids I think but I’m willing to be schooled. Not that it would change what I do…)
I had to take at night as I experienced strong hunger waves and periods of extreme tiredness if taken in the day, I possibly had more “extreme” (read interesting) dreams at night, a big plus in my books.
Personally I want to use GH but the cost and the fact I cant keep a protocol for more than a few months without wanting to switch it up makes me think I’ll stop too early if I don’t see obvious benefits within a month or so.
Again not coz I think it wont be working but the cost against the visual/perceived benefits may make me want to change.
@hankthetank in previous posts if I remember correctly you had said you’d taken it and had bloods done and it had raised your IGF-1.
There’s lots of research online where this is shown to happen, although not soo much on what that leads to afterwards as far as my limited reading has seen?
What changed your mind to thinking its some hippie bullshit?
Dont get me wrong. Mk677 does work. But i wouldnt really put it in the same category as HGH. For me, low dose GH doesnt do much for my IGF, but there are a lot of benefits of GH that are not IGF related. And the other way around - MK does increase IGF but it didnt seem to have the rest of the GH benefits.
For example - MK held water. And gave me lethargy all the time. Its also hard to measure what good did the increased IGF did as its not like it did increase it twice or tripple.
Now when i take 1iu of GH in the morning, ED, and do some cardio, the fat on my stomach disapears in a few days no matter what i eat. I also dont feel tired.
The anti aging and all the other benefits are somatotropin related, not IGF related. If anything, increased IGF actually means organ growth and faster aging. I have read that for anti aging a person wants to keep IGF as low as possible.
I suggest young guys taking MK because of the cost, and for a bulk in the mix with all the other blast steroids, it might do good. It also seems to help natural girls who have stalled on their weight gain. I dont think its good for a cut or maintenance in the long run just as i dont thing low dose GH does anything for actual muscle growth.
But if we talk fat loss, anti aging, and old guys being on TRT, i believe doing actual GH with TRT is what they are looking for.
If i have understood it correctly, if anything, the IGF from MK might actually fuck the old fart up sooner and the benefits it provides, unless the person individually actually feels them very good and loves it, are not worth it.
If you jack your IGF up in your 50+ age, and you cant say that now your life is amazing because of it and you dont get epic gains and whatnot, you might be increasing the speed of your aging for no good reason. Of course, im not saying that because one took MK for 6 months now he will die 10 years sooner, but what im saying is - we have to understand what YOU individually get out of the MK, and is it worth the potential risk of aging speed, lethargy, increased BP because of the bloat, etc.
Some people say that MK is like a miracle drug for them. If thats the case - take it. If its more like “meh” i wouldnt take it at older age. TRT and low dose GH is a cleaner option imo.
