This post is to inform anyone who has with frustration been searching in the columbia sc area for a knowledgeable TRT doc, I have found one, or rather several. Finally, after a year and a half of dealing with inexperienced and reluctant doctors to deal with a 21 yr. old with low T and thyroid problems I have found a network of anti-aging doctors who readily accept young patients. The website is www.renewman.com, they know about the t+hcg+ai and you wont have to hassle them to try and prescribe them to you because they believe that is the proper protocol.
In some cases they even give you clomid to keep your natural levels where they were. They also inform you of the costs of the treatment upfront. I was slightly in disbelief that I had found a “one stop shop” for TRT but as it turns out there are educated doctors on the matter in the columbia sc area. Don’t be misinformed by the term “andropause” and think that they only deal with older men, this was my concern at first but as it turns out they thoroughly understand the issues and willingly accepted me.
Thyroid issues? Presumably if you treat the thyroid, your Testosterone levels could rise to a more desirable level. I’m surprised conventional doctors wouldn’t treat you for the thyroid…but then again maybe I’m not too surprised.
From what I’ve heard, if you have thyroid/adrenal issues before going on TRT, you may actually feel worse once going on!
It is pretty expensive, particularly the labs and doctor visits. I ended up getting reimbursed after filing with my insurance company but not everyone would be covered under different plans. My insurance will also cover about 70% of the prescriptions (blue cross/shield). hgh is outrageously expensive and prob. not an option for most.

If you have personal choice then I know of a Dr that will accept it…The clinics are a ripp off and are out for one interests them selves. They use standard protocols for every one and its never individualized…
Sure. They put me on 50mg Test E E3D,250ius Hcg day before test,.25mg Adex 5 on 2 off, and 25mg clomid daily. I did that for almost 6 months levels held at TT 877 @trough E2@28 FT was low 200’s. This is the best one FOR ME that I’ve experienced. No ED problems, mood swings, and no fatigue Every protocol since has been about the same minus the clomid and I haven’t felt the same since. Only down fall was they were expensive.
Yes I had 2 guys from renewman as they where on same protocol feeling like crap and I pulled them off clomid, adex, hcg. restarted then back up from ground zero on Test then adding things back in carefully. Now they are not on adex, lower dosages of HCG, 100-135 mgs of T getting bigger and leaner, better well being. They refered us several more people from renewman. Please note that these guys did not have adrenal issues but did have thyroid probems so it was not an overnight process. It took 3 months to get to where they are, but well worth the wait.
Well that just says the same protocol doesn’t work for everyone. Because it worked wonders for me. Im one of those clients from Renewman that came to you and you didn’t fix me ive been worse off ever since i left. But you gotta do what makes you feel good.
Taking hCG and any SERM at the same time will overload your testes with too much LH+hCG. LH receptors can degrade. But they get to charge you for both.
HAN, you should never state anything that might suggest that that zero AI is solution for all. There are new guys who are starting to learn this stuff and they can easily be misled or confused.
Through proper manipulation of lifestyles, proper eating patterns, nutritional interevention is always first choice if that fails then one resorts to drugs. If you are taking novarel people are probably over loading their LH receptors getting little T increase and more e2 increase. Since novarel has been manufactured in Canada the dosages has been greatly increased. Since having patients reduce hcg dosages, manipulating lifestyle, food choice there has been a dramatic reduction in AI usage. Many have been able to discontinue them. They retain all the positive effects of HCG. These little tids bits of information are what going to make the difference in people HRT protocol. DR john has been aware of this in his patients for quite some time as well as 2 or 3 others now I am bringing it to the forefront.
When it comes to fertility you cross that road when its time would be the most logical route.
Great you are able to father the kid but then have a higher probably of not enjoying it because you have vision issues. Shippen even stop using clomid long term for this reason and uses hcg on secondary people. If you want to risk it then that is your choice, but from a medical professionals stand point you can see where we stand.
I know im reviving the dead but im looking for a dr in nc or sc. Hard and rehab mentioned they may know someone. Unfortunately, i forgot my old login so cant pm on this new acct.
