Hey all -
I have been reading here for a short while and am needing help. My Thyroid no longer works properly, and I have been running the maze of Dr’s that are all old school and are more hindrance than help. Therefore, I have been trying to handle things myself.
My Family Dr has me on TRT. I am sure my E2 is too high, but he will go no further. So, I am wanting AI and HCG assistance. I want to start AI first. and am looking into natural supplements as no way I can get adex/anastrozole from dr.
Can any one tell me if DIM is good? HAs anyone tried product called FORM_X?
I can pretty much tell from my libido (what little there is) dying off. My nads are 1/2 the size they were when starting the TRT. My dr is looking for me a new endo, but it is a slow process. My weight is going up, I am hot all the time and a bit bloated. Pretty sure trying an AI will not harm me at this point in time. So any information on which one would be a good one to try is appreciated.

Find a good Endo or see if there is a clinic in your area. Off-hand based on what you’re describing I’d tend to agree with you because I can tell when my E2 is high without even getting tested, but of course you need to get tested. Good luck!
thyroid is not too bad right now. I think I have problems with T4 meds as my Reverse T3 was way too high. I used STTM and was able to get that down to proper level, but T and libido never fully came back online. I am willing to bet I can just use HCG and get going again, but Dr’s I see are all old and unwilling to listen or learn something new, even when I present them with the documentation from studies. AAARRRGGHHH!
Its like showing a caveman a match, but he still insist I use two sticks to rub together. I get so angry. that is another symptom I am having, which is mood swings and anger. I had the same problem over a year ago when another Dr. had me on Androgel. My T was fine, test-wise on that, but zero libido and testes dissappeared and were sore feeling all the time. I went off the gel ( which I hated) and about three weeks later, testes seemed like they were coming back - and my libido was back! but only for about 4 days. then it all stopped. I mentioned HCG back then, and was looked at like I was an alien from another planet searching for illegal drugs! First Endo I went to called me a liar when I said my family Dr. had placed me on androgel! He thought I was trying to be Schwarzenegger because I also mentioned problems I was having during workouts. If I would have said ‘exercise’ instead of workout, maybe he would not have freaked! Anyway, when I went on Cytomel for my thyroid, all my energy came back, and testes descended somewhat, but T never got much higher, and libido was mediocre, not good enough. When LAtest Dr. mentioned doing TRT via injection, I thought it may be better than gel response. 1 shot per month, started in Jan 2012. You guys know the story on how monthly shots work and what they do. I am now getting 100Mg? twice a month, (because my Dr is FORWARD THINKING) and feel miserable mood-wise, staying hot all the time, etc. All that moodiness has to be E2. I can’t imagine its anything else. Just tired of waiting on Dr’s to ‘run my life’, if I can do it myself via supplements, etc.
I think I may need to stop the TRT, and just try HCG and see what happens. I am not really sure how to use it or what to buy. Is it a powder you have to mix?
Medicine, logic, stickies, the advice from the people of this forum, and your own experience haven’t been very effective. Maybe if you just wing it blindly, things will come together for you.

Where are you located as I am associated with Dr’s all over the USA who are open minded and compassionate about what they do. Be glad to refer you to a good one.
Anything?
Also reading on other sites about two dr’s having differences. One is Dr. Crisler and the other is Dr. Scally. Either of them correct? I tend to lean toward Crisler, as he follows Shippen, and Scally is against both. This is getting confusing.
I’m a firm believer in working through a real doctor who you can actually see if at all possible, and preferably one who qualifies for your health insurance. It’s not easy, but you likely can find someone who is at least somewhat more knowledgeable about TRT than you have encountered so far. The advice that worked for me I found right here in one of this message board’s stickies: Locate the compounding pharmacies in your area, contact them and ask them what doctors they fill prescriptions for who put patients on TRT that includes not only injectable testosterone but also hCG and anastrozole.
Educating yourself - e.g. by studying the stickies here, as they’re a fantastic resource - is still very important, though, as even a doctor who is willing to write all of these prescriptions may not do all that good a job of it. Monitoring blood levels to confirm what you should actually be taking and at what dosages is very important, too.
