TRT and Masteron

Hello - I am 36 and have been on TRT at 250mgs weekly for almost two years. Blood work has always been all clear. I have some knowledge of PED’s but tend to second guess myself often.

Anyways. Ive been competing for two years. All of which have been on 250mgs of TRT until my last show in October. 3 weeks out I lowered my TRT to 150 and added Masteron at 150 weekly as well (m,w,f)

I have been running a 6 week post show protocol of Masteron at 150 and titrated my TRT back to 250.

My question is.. would an HCG PCT be necessary? I have gotten mixed feedback and my coach said its my choice but would help with atrophy. I am confused because the Masteron was a hardener (used for in this case). I did not to my knowledge see many gains in the final weeks.

What are your thoughts? I would assume the TRT at 250 is plenty since I am not looking to jumpstart any natural testosterone and would also be plenty to maintain any gains.

This is far above TRT range for 99.9% of people. Its a scripted low dose cycle.

Your coach doesn’t know this? PCT is if you plan on coming OFF TRT. If you continue taking exogenous Test of any kind then you do not need to PCT.

Certainly. A dose of 150mg or so puts most men top or out of range. Very few need more although I see a lot of clinics pushing 200mg out of the gate.

I’m gonna agree with @blshaw on all points. If your coach doesn’t know this run away.
Why do you think you would PCT if your on TRT?

Agree with you on the TRT part. It was a recommendation he made though considering the masteron. NOT the TRT

I personally don’t. He just believes a PCT coming off the masteron would be helpful to avoid any atrophy that comes with it while remaining on TRT

He is not a smart man. Atrophy is not increased from Masteron. I’ve never had atrophy thats noticeable but some men do. Atrophy is from full shutdown which happens on TRT alone regardless of Masteron. You don’t PCT for this however some guys use HCG year round as an adjunct for this. I don’t get it but some like it.

Again, run away. This guy has no idea what he is doing.
