Stopping TRT for 10 Days, Switching to HCG/Clomid. Do I Need PCT?

I have been on TRT for the last 3 months through a clinic. They are having me stop injecting my T and switching me over to hcg and clomid for the next 10 days. My T protocol starts up again after the 10 days. I just took my last T shot yesterday and my new meds are showing up today. My question is whether or not I have to do the pct regimen, or can I just keep on with the T? I have no reason to stop as I do not want any more children. I also don’t want to go back to having the problems I had prior to starting all of this. Just looking for some guidance as this is new to me and my clinic is giving me conflicting information from what my doctor originally told me.

Why on earth would they do that?

Edit: what clinic is this that thinks you need to cycle off TRT periodically?

It appears the clinic is building their treatment protocols based of steroid cycles and have no basic knowledge on how to manage men on TRT for the treatment of low-T.

Run from this clinic!

Yep. With all the experienced users and practitioners around, I have never heard of this “strategy.”.

Did they explain the rationale?

Bro you need to learn about TRT stat! There is no coming off.

There is zero reason to follow their plan. It shows that the people running the clinic struggle with even the most basic concepts of how testosterone esters work. You won’t even be clear of your last shot by the end of those 10 days, let alone at the beginning. You’ll be taking a drug (Clomid) that can have some nasty side effects and you’ll be getting almost no benefit. Do. Not. Listen. To. These. People.

Thanks for taking the time to respond! I will be searching for a new clinic as this one seems a bit shady. When they told me the protocol, it seemed fishy especially since the doctor gave me completely different instructions. The doctor told me it would be continuous and told me a completely different regimen than the clinic mapped out for me. It’s like they never even spoke to each other. When I questioned the protocol, the clinic said it is good for my teste health and that I should follow the regimen. That is when I turned here for help. I will continue to use this T that I just received and look for a new doctor. Thanks for all of your insight!

Sounds like you’ve already worked this out with good advice above, but the above comment removes the purpose for using hCG or Clomid. Assuming you told them as much, the move to hCG and Clomid is unexplainable.
