Trestolone Legality

Trestolone, also known as 7α-methyl-19-nortestosterone ( “MENT” )

No, not trenbolone, testalone, but Trestolone.

I am under the impression, after a fair bit of research, it is legal as a research chemical in the USA and not listed as a controlled substance.

Does anyone have a definitive answer on this? I see the process where the DEA can just schedule most things it feels like scheduling, if certain criteria are met, but read that it was not possible due to the structure of this substance.

Looking for definitive, original, links, if at all possible. They make finding this stuff out rather difficult.

It’s not legal to sell it as a supplement in the United States. It’s in that grey area of the law, hence the research chemical loophole. FWIW you can buy it from UK supp shops legally. But if you’re worried about staying on this side of the law then you should probably avoid anything that’s not expressly legal.

Thank you very much. That’s my understanding, as well.

I hate to bother you more, but do you have an authoritative source/link for that? I want to read from some government source that it’s not a scheduled item, and they don’t make it easy to find out.

This is a toughie, the designer steroid act of 2014 states “a drug or hormonal substance (other than estrogens, progestins, corticosteroids, and dehydroepiandrosterone) that is not listed and that is derived from, or has a chemical structure substantially similar to, an anabolic steroid that is listed, shall be considered to be an anabolic steroid”, it also adds a few dozen specific names to the list of definate controlled substances, now Epistane, although I don’t think it’s specifically on the list of controlled substances, still falls under the ban this act creates as it isn’t an estrogen, progestin, corticosteroid of DHEA derivitave and has a chemical structure similar to many anabolic steroids listed on the ban. Trestolone, 7a-methyl 19 nortestosterone is an anabolic steroid and PROGESTIN AND isn’t specifically listed on the designer steroid act, therefore you can make the arguement that it doesn’t count as being illigal, however it’s a veeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrry grey area, I don’t think many companies would still risk selling it OTC as a supp, you’d probably have to buy it as a research chem, in which you’d agree to it not being used for human consumption (again very grey, dicey area), however typically when made illigal the DEA will go after the suppliers, they couldn’t give a shit about buyers.

However Trestolone has a similar chemical structure to various anabolics and exhibits many of the same myotrophic effects anabolic steroids have as it is… an anabolic steroid, so if you’re using this for sport and get caught you’re in trouble. If submitted to congress, a bill to ban trestolone would pass as it meets the definition of an “anabolic steroid” however whether you could currently take it legally, there’s no real “no” or “yes” to it, you’d likely get away with playing the ignorance card.

Well, of course I wouldn’t use it in a human!

I get it, you’ve got 400 super buff rats that you need to keep in an anabolic time chamber
