Weren’t you originally looking at reverse dieting into the show?
You seem lean enough already and some additional carbs may help you look phenomenal. Not trying to rock the boat, obviously you should trust your coach. But may be worth a conversation.
Everything is looking good! Very lean,Keep grinding!

Thanks for the input Tim. Brian and I have had several discussions about how far we want to push my conditioning over the last few weeks. It’s tough since I will be competing in 2 different categories where if could possibly be docked for being “too lean” in men’s physique. I’ve decided that I can live with that though, and would rather do as well as I possibly can in bodybuilding in June. My coach and I feel my best chance of being competitive is by bringing “freak status” conditioning, as I obviously won’t have as much size as some guys I’ll be going against. So I think we’re gonna keep pushing hard for the rest of May to really get my glutes striated, and hopefully be able to eat into the bb’ing show (June 14)

Makes sense!
Abs are starting to enter “freak status” btw
Thanks Tim! I had actually been a little concerned that men’s physique wouldn’t be a great fit for me because I have pretty shallow abs and seem to store most of my fat in the midsection. Abs seem to be coming through quite a bit more the last week though, hoping to tighten up a bit more the next few days before peak week begins. New prep low 175.6 yesterday

As many of you know, I’m a big believer in flexible dieting/IIFYM, while being sure to cover all my nutritional needs through plenty of high quality protein and carb sources in addition to greens and fruit each day. Thought I’d post a picture of one of my staple meals as of late, French toast and Egg whites. To make French toast, I soak up 15 g of liquid egg whites with a slice of Village Hearth light wheat bread (8 carbs per slice), and top with cinnamon and vanilla extract.
I cook the soaked bread in a skillet sprayed with Pam spray for about 90 seconds on each side, then top with Walden Farms pancake syrup and either natty peanut butter or Pb2 depending on my available fat for the day. Keeps things fun and is a pretty filling meal! Don’t have the exact numbers in front of me, but this meal was about 40 c, 33 p, and 8 f.[/quote]
Sounds and looks delicious. I may try this verison of French toast.

After competing in Physique in 2 different shows I can tell you I walked out not knowing what they judge on…they were both different. All you can do is come in as lean as possible, which it looks like you’re already there. Great job man! It’s amazing to follow along some great transformations.
Amazing progress! You’re looking abs-olutely shredded!

Thanks brother! Yep, as you said, gonna bring the best package I can and I know I’ll have no regrets
9 days out update
Getting pretty excited guys! My peak week is going to correspond with finals week, which will be fun :). But hey that’s what natural bodybuilding is all about isn’t it…bringing your best physique to the stage while keeping your real life priorities in order. It has gotten a little tough to stay motivated in school the last week or two as I get so close, but this has actually been my best semester of college so far when it comes to grades, so really want to finish strong.
Hit a new low of 175.0 this morning, and will be starting Brian’s peak week strategy today actually!

175.0

Sorry if this is a little blurry
Looking seriously peeled mate very well done!
Are you able to give us any details on what Brian has planned for peak week?
