By the time i shoveled and chipped ice, I was spent !!! It made me hungry for a nice THICK NAP, but that wasn’t going to happen.
I was reading in someones log (forget who), but I could totally relate to the ice picking job. I do like to shovel, great wo, but not a fan of the chipping of ice blocks. I knew we would pay for that sunny 40 degree day.
OTHER NOTES:
I don’t like training feeling like it was just “ok”. Hope this is just a phase. Seems to be happening with upper body.
So I need to redesign my training.
Where i get hung up is, you will want to know “what are your goals?” I can’t keep saying it is just to have a nice body, because I obviously get pretty stoked when I hit some nice weight PRs. So balance? [/quote]
I will say this, not every session is going to be a winner. Some days as you say, it just feels “ok” and you end up feeling like you wasted the effort. I think this is a good bit of advice from CT about falling in love with the process and not being results based… http://www.T-Nation.com/strength-training-topics/1800
I believe Wendler has talked about it to, not letting a bad session ruin the day or the following days. Results aren’t linear and not every session will bring PR’s but loving the process should always be there. Keep it up and you’ll get things figured out, you clearly work very hard and it shows.
The amazing back and glutes are proof of your hard work, definitely doing something right!

Its never a bad way to start the day with a pic of Thibsâ?¦just saying
I hardly have days i train i feel like that ^, probably because i do love the process < but you knew that.
The only reason I want to change what I have been doing is mainly the back/upper work, and where to put it, as the FS really hits my upper back.
I like a little more recovery. I like my old program because when i look back , I seemed to have everything (shape wise) to be balanced out.
warm up ab ad machine flute band work —should just leave this. Glute band

Really prefer the LP at the gym where my back is really supported, my back pad has a big opening and I tend to slide into it. Cant be good.
I haven’t checked in for a while but in no picture or video I’ve ever seen would you ever be confused with a guy and G1 is all man so everything seems to be in good order to me!
Those two pictures above are very distracting. If anyone confuses you with a man then this is obviously indicating serious mental distortions and irregularities which means a therapist is needed. Great dead work and do you really feel comfortable changing your stance? Some people do come forward on the dead because they find that position stronger and more comfortable. Just sayin’
My last upper day felt so strong, i love that feeling. Legs yesterday was mainly ham/glute focused and
I sure felt it.
Haven’t been hungry…,at all, so eating has been pretty lame. Im sure my appetite will pick back up. I certainly don’t want to waste the time, since deciding to keep my cals up.
Min the top had a zip up front. Thought it was a cool top for showing the back muscles. Feel free to model yours anytime
Haven’t really changed around lifting template wise, other than, a temporary lull in motivation, just lots going on, think the little longer gap between wos has been good for me. I plan on lifting today, i may feel the lack of food, and will change things up if i need to.

I know, I just let a stupid comment get to me. Guess we all see things differently.
Not sure on the G comment, but he would be glad to know. lol

SO true GV, it think one of your guys you like has a similar approach, can’t be all that bad, ha!
That particular DL sesh didn’t feel AS grooved, so i probably was a little more forward than usual.
It is my strongest pull just ahead of the bar. Had a nice 200/3x3 ~~~that last set I wasn’t sure on getting that last rep, but i ground in my legs, felt like a BOSS!!
EDIT to sayâ?¦need to find a nice mid zone now. Ive been pushing the heavy weight, probably a week too long, which could be why i was frizzled out and didn’t train anything :0
I was thinking 165 5x3 ? thoughts.
EDIT again to say, I started to pull DL with yesterdays legs and 185 felt like 300 should feel. Thats why i was thinking drop down.
Yesterdays upper was good. Did some nice sets of Flat BB Bench. Not doing FS this last leg day, my upper back was “fresh”, so Tbars and chins were so nice. I usually don’t get too hung up on my accessory work. i feel like if Im going heavier than the rest seems pretty challenging. moderate work for that upper but my accessory work felt strong. I really could use a spot for the db work, i feel like Im going to tweak something dropping the dbs gently, and 60 #s is a bit too heavy when sitting up, so i tend to just lay there with the weights on my tummy for a bit, or I sit up with the weight(not easy). Not sure what you all do?
*** SO Im thinking for the deads , a speed day @ 155 and then a rack day heavy below knees. Pretty sure i used to do that?
I love the sound of the rack pulls, gets me fired up EVERY TIME.
Im going to put in a little more work on hamstrings. I can barely see a curve. Ive noticed a whittle whittle difference with MMC. The sitting curls are so different when really paying attention to feeling it. I realize my whole leg needs attention, I am working on it!
Tomorrow will be a lot of single leg work, goblets, plyo. More of the same. Will also hit shoulders!
That weird feeling in my arm?, Im wondering if it is from shoveling. I chipped ice, scraped ice and then shoveled it all again today. My obliques are getting crushed, I do not need more oblique work, geeze. It is a sneaky way to hit the biceps though.
Min. Don’t even mention ice/snow, Ive had about as much as i can take of this cold. I am not a cold weather person.
Hamsâ?¦hams of peace I don’t have. Thats where the DL PRs help. I know I am at least getting stronger.
2B Everything is fine, just busy…, Job, life, training. No worries.
I just don’t have much to say (not that I ever do/did). Im going to keep on keeping on for another 4-6 weeks and then see what I want to do. The last month wasn’t the greatest for sleeping, so i felt it. Ive been hitting it with some passion again, and things are feeling good.
