What the rep scheme on the bench? You said you were back at it so are you just seeing where you are at?
Joe thanks for calling me out ~~~ I was going to do the 10/8/6/3x5 but somehow that isne obi. what actually went down.
Last week i did 8s, i should probably work on this a little harder. I know your going to ask me what my goal for bench is…really I dont want a goal. It makes me go to POF way too much, hope that is an ok reason  I just really like the feeling of bench, and the shape my body takes on doing it. That being said i should probably do high reps, and then weeks of 3-5s.
That makes perfect sense.

Thanks for the taps at the door, Im here, Im just busy, and not as much free time to post, or i should say, with no offence that i want to take the time to post. Trying to enjoy what little decent weather we have here, although its been cold for July.

This week i mainly did some cough cardio/body weight stuff. Im not sure what the hype is about, my ankles and hip flexors are not happy with this routine. Oh, I guess i did bench day on mondayish, yea, i made that that up.

Today i wanted to see what my numbers were looking like at the gym, so in case anyone remembers my numbers, no, i didnt get uber strong over night, my home gym is way harder as far as plates to plates. Yea, yea, summer is a hard time to log…, lots more going on around here, and work and all…

…My daughter told me my butt looked round & huge today, i told her thanks
Im sure its swollen, i hurt…, like hurt to walk, sore. I seriously didnt even want to lift my feet off the ground sore. So i shuffled around work, and swung my legs funny…, you know the walk, where your feet/legs swing out to the side before going forward. Im sure i look like a trip.
Oh well, go hard or go home, ya babies.

Gonna crush some upper tomorrow, cant wait!!!

I here you on the glute soreness. Been doing some new programming and my hamstrings and butt always seem sore. Several times in the last month people have said something like “your limping did you get hurt” It tskes too long to explain to someone who doesn’t work out it is from working out so I usually just say "no, must be tight from sitting too long at the office today.

I’m confident your “sore” walk is a lot more attractive than mine.

Let’s be honest, the worst part of post leg day is trying to land your ass on the toilet. There’s a lot of lining up and blind faith involved. The new avatar looks great Up. Incredibly lean, looking like Wonder Woman with those colors.

The avatar is…fantastic

I can assure you, there is nothing…, NOTHING attractive about my stick up my arse walk!

Im actually pretty lucky, we have grab bars at work :0

 thanks, I was due to be accountable.

Lets see…, bench yesterday @ home

DIPS
14 total, mainly 2s, sadly some 1s a couple 3s - dang, forgot how mentally challenging dips are.

Flat Bench
warm up/bar/bar
65/10
75/10
85/10
75/10

Tbar kept back low, fought the urge to “creep up” mod weight. sets of 8 today
pull downs wide as could worked up to 75/2x12 really need a 5#er to put on weight stack, hmm
mid row with that handle i use for tbars thinking it was 55, but notes down stairs
Thats all i had time for the dips, wore me out!

Today
some conditioning then went to gym

face pulls and YTW stuff warm up, push ups , down dog

high incline db press
20/10
25/10
30/3x8 wished i pushed for 35s for my first set, oh well next week.

raises front to side 8s/10 x3 combo with bent arm delt 10s/12 x3
db partials out to sides, just a shit ton, with a drop set to end, and each set my arms came up higher, by the time i got to 3s(started 20s) it was frackin HARD!

tri push down and bi curls alt x3 sets

finished with the cable cross in front things for rear delts, was going for high volume, but by 8 i could feel this burn coming on, so by the time i was at 11…12 rep was crazee, i guess i could have dropped to one pin, which i think would be 10#s, now that im typing thats what i used to finish with, but a lot more reps. oh well, too late now.

Must be the dips from yesterday, this wo was harder than i wanted it to feel. The little off schedule i got is now a blurr, feeling tight and feisty again! I love this lifting thing!!!

145/2x3-4 my grip is the limiting issue. Maybe try versa grips? They may be easier on my wrists than mine.
First off, your new avi pic is amazing. Nice mid-section, and arms and shoulders too! You’re doing it right.

About the post above - Do you have Versa Gripps? Have you tried them? I’ve been thinking about buying them for pullups for several months, but I wish I could try them first since they cost about $55 on Amazon.

I noticed Penny Price using them in this video, but notice that she flips them out of the way when she does pressing. My motive is to take my grip/ bicep out of my pullups so I can get more lat activation. I assume they are really more of a hook than a wrist wrap / support for pressing. I asked lil’ power and she uses both straps and wrist wraps for different things, but she didn’t have experience with the Versa Gripps. It would be nice to find something that was both. Anyone? I’ve never used straps. or hooks, or wraps.

Penny's Chest Back Superset Workout - YouTube

UGH had a long post and it gave me the not connected to the internet …

PUFF Ahh, thanks girl!! I am sitting at a happy 121? 122? I really dont know. If I am training as hard as i can physically and schedule wise, it is what it is. That being said, i may look as good as I have ever looked, and if not, Im not picking myself apart, so thats gotta mean good things  I know i am asking a lot of myself, and I may not have what it takes to improve more, but i would like some more please.

Plenty of places for improvement, so knock on wood, no injuries this winter, a smidge more muscle would be nice. I will settle for a maintenance mode, but like all of us, dont want to go backwards. May have to get creative with full body wos and mixing it up , to accomplish it threw a crazy busy winter work load.

You were looking beyond amazing in your last pics, your legs, your legs!! Feel free to update us on here with all your beauty  srs. Would be great motivation for me!!!

Video → was transfixed on her bicep vein…

I use wrist straps and wraps, but the versa grips intrigue me because 1. they can stay on and 2. they look simpler to adjust.
I am seriously thinking I need them.

When she was doing the chest flys…, hmmm i sit higher, but maybe her chesticles gave off a different allusion.(Yea, i obviously watched the video)
The last move, one arm cable row, i LOVE. I do them, but turn my knuckles up, i will have to turn the pinky up and see what that feels like. I have the best MMC with back, so should be telling.

Puff, the last pics of you were awesome, LEGS<LEGS<LEGS so …, feel free to update yourself here, with pics would be great. srs
Would be very motivating for me

Missing a few training sessions is making me :frowning: I guess a few times wont kill me, but i just had a reload so…

Today I made a huge batch of holupki (cabbage i picked the other day at a local farm, stuffed with rice and beef, yummm) and cleaned so i am good to go tomorrow. I already feel sorry for myself, it will be brutal!!!

Hope you all are having a great summer
