Having said that, what excuse do 12 year old white suburban girls who dress like streetwalkers have when they do have someone that should know better in their lives?
That is quite the assumption now isn’t it?
This whole thread reeks of it so it’s OK.
Oh right, and entire 3 threads who’s major theme has been the improper assumptions people make about others, particularly about race, but it cool for you to blatantly do it?
Fuck that.
But because of “dat der privilege” you can just assume this person’s life is wonderful and she has everything she needs in life, even though style of dress, as you have presented, is more likely than not a cry for attention from a “father” that “works” 70 hours a week (really just 40, and the other 30 is spent fucking his mistress), and a “mother” who is too loaded on cheap gin and Zanex to notice?
You are literally no better than those you have been speaking out against. Therefore part of the problem. But it’s cool, because everyone else does it? Personification of the entire point of this argument, in one post… Well done.
Did I say it was cool for me to do it?
So now you are going to play semantic games?
You said it was “OK”. How else was that supposed to be taken?
Do people see what’s there or what they perceive is there based on a variety of outside influences? We don’t have freedom of choice if we don’t know the reasons why we choose. If we make judgements without understanding why we came to our conclusions then we can never have an unbiased opinion. Why the hell would I think that a particular style of dress is whore-like? I have not seen many prostitutes. Why would I assume that my tastes and feelings on appropriate dress are correct enough to make a judgement about someone I don’t know?
Someone from a Muslim nation might think what I find appropriate for my kid is whore-like. My father who grew up in a different time and place might feel the same way. Why is a comment regarding white girls so offensive to some here yet all the ridiculous posts about how blacks dress are OK?
