Trayvon Martin Pt. 2 'The Legacy'

I believe that all but one of the women on the jury were Mothers. As such, there was reportedly a LOT of crying during parts of the trial. No one ever wants to even think about losing their sons or daughters. Still, they had to reach their verdict based on actual evidence, no matter how saddened they were by the whole ordeal.

S
I’m sorry but those 6 women couldn’t look at Trayvon as their son because he was black. Those women couldn’t put themselves in Sybrina’Fulton shoes and feel her pain and sorrow. Their mind was already made up.

God damn, I had fucking faith when I learnt six women had been selected. I didn’t care about their race. I knew they’ll be behind Trayvon’s mother. Most of them were mothers after all. They never empathized, nor sympathised enough to convict the killer of manslaughter.

I remember reading in the last thread that there was no way that Zims would be convicted with a jury of white women. I didn’t want to believe that bullshit. They were mothers they would understand. I was so fucking wrong. Anderson Cooper’s interview with one of the jurors confirmed what I suspected after the verdict; Trayvon Martin was guilty from the very first day of trial. That woman only felt sorry for Zims.

Now some of you are saying, the jury freeing FatmanBitch had got nothing to do with six white cough five white woman who couldn’t relate to a black kid?

Meh, that doesn’t surprise me.
So you are implying that mother’s due to their emotional bond with their children can’t think rationally and should side with their emotions over reason or intellectual capability?

MAYBE, maybe, JUST maybe those 6 women (5 were white btw and they were agreed on by the PROSECUTION) used their brains, reason, and logical deduction while looking at the evidence to come to a conclusions.

But I am sure you will come back with some nonsensical bullshit that says the prosecution was racist, etc etc. And if you can’t see the inherent racism in saying white mothers or black mothers can’t relate to each other as being maternal loving parents because of the differing colors, you are too far lost for anyone’s help. What about white couples who adopt black children? I guess they can’t understand those children or love them.

I will stop throwing reason and logical thinking at you now because all it seems to do is push you further into race filled delirium.

Can you read?

I am referencing the earlier possibility discussed that they actually are dangerous people(which YOU referenced when you said, “And now they know where you live.”)

This is part of what was discussed earlier.

Now answer the damn question or don’t.

Your fucking choice.

Sheesh.
Why are you up so late?

Go to bed.

You’re getting cranky.

Because they are racist. Because white people are racist.
Forget the part where apparently empathy > evidence.

If racism isn’t the problem, this whole due process thing is utter bullshit too.

I don’t have a fucking “block.”

And if you think approaching 5 drinking, real time thugs of another race late at night who saw fit to plant themselves on your porch, and then asking them for ANYTHING is the best move, then you need to get out more, son.
Sorry if I won’t spend every second worrying about every single one of you.

Most of you are full of shit and have no real point.

If you wanted a real discussion, none of this mob mentality shit would be happening right now
Its not mob mentality, it just appears that way when you’re point of view and rationale is based on bullshit and most everyone else’s isnt.

I mean, seriously, what the fuck? Two humungous whales fucktards, wear the N word on their shirt to cause trouble. What’s the point of inciting anger when a group of people protest peacefully?

And ya’ll tellin’ me racism is finito?

Props the protesters for keeping it COOOOOL.

Oh wait but he was black. Automatically makes his upbringing tuff and hood and shit.

This is why I had been focusing on people who want to discuss about the trial.

Some fuckers are just here to follow us around and for the personal attacks. I don’t have time for that shit right now.

indeed impossible to say. so we rely on life experiences as guides to how we should act.

i was one of those scumbags, saggy pants and attitude for days. so i equate such garb with less than upstanding young citizens. Because I was one and every single person i have ever met like that has proven to be less than upstanding young citizens.

I guess professorson would rather risk an incident and possible bodily harm without the police than risk an incident with the police, no chance of bodily harm, and maybe a chance of vandalism in the future. seems reasonable.

No, DN. So far as I know, State law doesn’t have anything at all to say about neighborhood watchmen. If it did, this would have been used against Zimmerman in the trial. It’s just more of your spouting off guttermouthed, emotionally emetic, racist claptrap, as usual.

In the simplest terms I can muster: It doesn’t MATTER because he was not acting as a POLICE OFFICER. He was acting as a citizen.

Again, if this is such an important point, why was it not used to crowbar a conviction out of this trial?

*edited
Thank you for answering.

You have an issue with me being ‘‘emotive, foul mouthed, prejudiced yada yada…’’ yet you’re the one who addressed me first, has been insulting me here and there and displaying your superiority complex. Lol. Calm the fuck down, Cortes. This is only the internet. Stop taking everything to heart or you’ll have a fucking heart attack. For a man, who’s been living in Japan for decades, I would have expected to know what it feels like to be discriminated. But you seem to have an issue with me speaking about the unfairness of a white privileged justice system. Hahaha!!

You’ll deal with my fucking shit, motherfucker.

I already knew Zimfuck went on trial as a citizen. Not as watchman. I have no issue with that.

However, what I didn’t agree with you, was that his acquittal as a CITIZEN should not usurp the current/ future duties of his fellow watchmen, which are WATCH, OBSERVE, REPORT.
Trust me, I don’t get too upset by any of this, DN. I have too many other things to worry about that affect me directly.

If you are talking about other neighborhood watchmen thinking they now have free reign to mess with minorities or otherwise, I would submit to you that they are still governed by the same state and federal laws that govern us all. So if they decide to “go vigilante,” they will take on all the risks and consequences that attend that decision.

If I’m a neighborhood watchman and somebody is committing a crime, and I have the power to stop it and all I do is report and then sit back and watch it happen, while the police take too long to get here, and all the while I could have stopped it… Well then, somebody ought to bounce MY head off a curb.

I’m not saying TM was committing a crime. Just responding to what you are suggesting. And I’m done here. Too much to do and the Japan thread is a lot more fun.

I agree with a lot of what your saying.I think one of the reasons zimmerman was not charged right from the start, is his daddy being a retired supreme court magistrate in virginia…I watched the videos of zimm. going out to the scene with detectives and he had several contradictions to his story …If he would have stayed in his car as he was told by police dispatch when he called them ,and not follow the young man.none of this would have happened. But he was a wannabe, that wanted to play cop and unfortunately a Family lost their Son because of his actions. The little bit of cuts on the back of his head he could have easily done himself after he shot T.Martin… That amount of damage he had didnt look that bad to me…Certainly not to shoot anyone over.If Looks were brought into it The way Zimm. looked at time of incident with his Fu-gotee and shaved head looked more like a gang member than the young man. Also the location Zimm. said his holster in the back of his waist band,if he was on his back being pummeled ,would have really hard to get to.Plus the bushes he said T.Martin jumped out of were’nt tall enough to conceal someone.I dont believe his Story Personally…This opens the door for all the wannabes to just have their script right and shoot someone.
Great fucking post.

But trust me, anything you’ve written here will be dismissed.

Anything that corroborated with Humongouswhalezimmy’s statements - statements that changeD so many times in a year – has to be the absolute truth. The man never lied. The man is a fucking saint. The jurors agreed and let him go.
