Spare me the sanctimonious bullshit attitude.

I grew up in a housing project, and have lived overseas for 2/3 of your lifetime.

I don’t have a fucking “block.”

And if you think approaching 5 drinking, real time thugs of another race late at night who saw fit to plant themselves on your porch, and then asking them for ANYTHING is the best move, then you need to get out more, son.
I get out just fine…enough to know that once the cops leave…you could DIE if they were REAL THUGS.

No one cares what you have to say about how idiotic it is to acknowledge that. It only shows you see your own cultural behavior as the only “right” behavior.

GEE

You have no way of knowing that.

They may all turn to eachother and say “GEE im on parole brah i cant have this shit” and then another guy be like “GEE im on parole too, better mosey on over to where we’re supposed to be”

Impossible to say really.
Dear God.

The point is YOU DON’T KNOW…so calling the cops which will in no doubt piss off the REAL THUGS isn’t the only safe option.

You can’t even argue that without attacking me personally.

Trust me, I don’t get too upset by any of this, DN. I have too many other things to worry about that affect me directly.

If you are talking about other neighborhood watchmen thinking they now have free reign to mess with minorities or otherwise, I would submit to you that they are still governed by the same state and federal laws that govern us all. So if they decide to “go vigilante,” they will take on all the risks and consequences that attend that decision.

If I’m a neighborhood watchman and somebody is committing a crime, and I have the power to stop it and all I do is report and then sit back and watch it happen, while the police take too long to get here, and all the while I could have stopped it… Well then, somebody ought to bounce MY head off a curb.

I’m not saying TM was committing a crime. Just responding to what you are suggesting. And I’m done here. Too much to do and the Japan thread is a lot more fun.
Aww, dang it.

I was looking forward to a longer ‘‘fight’’. Ehehehe.

I think I’m going to retire for now.

This thread is going nowhere.

Let’s be real (realtalk.) Sagging pants where your whole ass is hanging out and you literally have to hold your pants up is thuggish plain and simple.
This is incorrect. It is a STYLE of wearing clothes no different than Joedci sagging in the 90’s.
If someone walks around with their whole ass hanging out and walking like a duck holding the crotch area of their pants to keep from falling, they are telling everyone they are a thug. Whether they are or not.
Actually all they are doing is wearing their pants like most people in that age group and cultural background.
No different than a chick walking around public with her ass hanging out and tits about to bust out of her shirt being perceived as a slut.
Wow…so now any woman dressed provacatively is a slut?

You really want to keep arguing this?
Or someone with a shaved head, long shorts, high socks, and SS tats being perceived as a skinhead.
Uh, the SS tat is what states that…nothing else you just wrote.
If a millionaire that doesn’t shower for a year or cut his hair or toenails and walks around with ripped jeans and a dirty sweatshirt? He’ll be perceived as a bum no matter how much money he really has.
Uh, you can sag your pants and where million dollar cologne. Not sure why sagging equals “dirty” to you.

Wow.

Some people actually understand different cultures and don’t label everything they don’t personally understand as a NEGATIVE.
I know that you type really really fast, but maybe reading as fast as you type is not such a good idea. Try slowing down and actually comprehending next time. I did not say sagging pants is “dirty.”

No, you related it to a guy who didn’t bathe or take care of themselves.

Notice how the arguments thin out if they can’t attack me on a personal level.

Uh…no. Again how fast you replied shows how fast you read my post without thinking. It’s not working for you. I also said a chick with her ass hanging out would be perceived as slutty… So you think that I think sagging pants is slutty too? I also said someone with a shaved head and ss tat would be perceived as a skinhead… So therefore you think I think sagging pants is white supremacist? Hopefully you can see that the examples all made a point, but were completely unrelated to each other. I really would like to have a discussion without breaking it down barney style for you.

I said the SS tat is what makes them a racist skin head, nothing else you wrote about.

You aren’t following me well at all.

so that would mean your argument is thinning out since you cant attack me personally. amazing!

Your last post:
indeed impossible to say. so we rely on life experiences as guides to how we should act.

i was one of those scumbags, saggy pants and attitude for days. so i equate such garb with less than upstanding young citizens. Because I was one and every single person i have ever met like that has proven to be less than upstanding young citizens.

I guess professorson would rather risk an incident and possible bodily harm without the police than risk an incident with the police, no chance of bodily harm, and maybe a chance of vandalism in the future. seems reasonable.
Once the cops leave, then what?

I answered this in response to someone else. Why would I need to address ten different people individually if they all attack at once?
Maiden3.16 wrote:

You aren’t making sense.

This

is relating to someone dressed with sagging pants.

if that is NOT what you were relating it to, then what were you relating it to?
Professor X wrote:

Are you confusing your own points now professor?

It is and has been from the start about how people from different backgrounds would handle the same situation.

It is you who can’t seem to grasp this.

Once again, can someone explain to me why it is IDIOTIC to NOT call the cops if someone is from a neighborhood where REAL THUGS would actually be “loitering” on their drive way?

Is it incomprehensible that someone would see calling the cops as ESCALATION of a situation that could end with a simple comment?

Fear seems to guide the reaction.

Why not answer the question?

The conclusion is that you can’t.

You wrote something and now can’t support what you wrote.

Once again, if you were NOT referring to sagging pants WHAT WEE YOU REFERRING TO?
DarkNinjaa wrote:
However, what I didn’t agree with you, was that his acquittal as a CITIZEN should not usurp the current/ future duties of his fellow watchmen, which are WATCH, OBSERVE, REPORT.

State/Federal law > Neighborhood Watchman Rules
Just because you are subjected to the lesser does not negate the greater law or right.
Zimmerman did fulfill his neighborhood watchman duties.
He watched, he observed and then he reported.
Then he acted as a citizen has every right to and he spoke to another human being (that’s not illegal in Florida as far as I know)
Things took a turn at this point but up until now Zimmerman didn’t do anything illegal.

How does this quote have ANYTHING to do with sagging pants? Please show me. It is simply stating that if you aren’t a bum, but you dress like one without showering or cutting your hair and nails, you will be perceived as one. This is one of many UNRELATED examples I used to illustrate a point: how you dress is a factor in how you will be perceived.

Somehow you got sagging pants=dirty from this quote.

I won’t break this down for you anymore, you need to grow up and learn to do that all on your own.
