Trayvon Martin Pt. 2 'The Legacy'

For some reason the Houston vs Little Rock discussion reminded me of this.

I come from a low income neighborhood where life is not very comfortable.

I am so much stronger than you, and my powers of rhetoric so much greater than yours, that you could employ an army some sort to aid in your fight with me. But I of course would prevail because I am stronger than you.

I’m sure I needn’t remind you of my place of birth, wherein as I explained before, the living conditions are much worse than your aforementioned city of residence… Once again and I think this bears repeating, I would like to restate my claim that I am in fact much stronger and have endured a larger number of hardships than you. Hardships which have left me with an aggressive behavior and an opposing demeanor which I believe frightens you.

In conclusion I would like to leave you with a brief summary of my argument. You sir, are a weak, timid, and untrustworthy homosexual. The city in which you live is not nearly as difficult to live in nor is it in such a high state of disrepair as mine. I am a superior monologist in this debate and any claim to the contrary will result in physical violence and perhaps even death.

Dumbass move.

Luckily for this guy, they just seemed like “guys who get labeled as thugs because they scare people with their sagging pants”.
Lose-lose. If they ARE real thugs and you confront them–on foot, by yourself–then they will put you into the hospital and probably loot your place afterwards. If you are still alive. If they are real thugs then the ONLY thing to do when you are alone, outnumbered, and without a weapon is to call the police. Hard to defend yourself if you’re FUCKING DEAD.

You probably pissed them off less by staying out of the way and having a cop talk them out of the driveway. I might be reading it wrong, but the way I read it is he stayed well off away from his property while the cop handled things. If that’s the case they may not see the person who called the cops well enough to get a description, or even know the cop was called vs. just making a drivearound. Chances are also good that they hold less animosity towards a particular property/person if a figure of authority tells them to move vs. if they feel their alpha status being threatened by a single unarmed and un-uniformed person. The psychology of primates and groups again shows this to be true. The psychology of violent confrontations also shows this to be a very real and very commonly occurring accidental escalation point. You don’t even need to be a “real thug” for that to set you off; I’ve seen this kind of thing happen countless times in bars, or at house parties to say nothing of a random house with no friendly or neutral crowd around to act as witnesses.

That’s the kind of “brave” that gets you killed.
Unless you are a dentist, with previous Air Force training, who was invited to Colorado on numerous occasions by a supplement company. Who is also a self proclaimed nerd. Thugs know not to Fuck with those guys!!

Yay another PX meme thread!

What exactly made you not feel safe?

They were at a house party near you, right?

What made you feel “not safe”?
There were a group of loud strangers hanging out in his driveway late at night.
I think that’s cause enough to not feel 100% comfortable.
You are justifying someone calling POLICE because people are STANDING THERE GOING TO A NEAR BY HOUSE PARTY instead of just asking them to move?

Wow.
A group of men trespassing late at night is worthy of a call to the police.
It’s worthy of an arrest where I live.

Honestly i was getting sick of reading about Trayvon Martin. Watching X act a fool is and will always be far more amusing.

Maybe things are different in Houston, but isn’t trespassing at night a shootin’ offense in most of the rest of Texas?

LOLz all you want, I guess I should go to gas stations at 3 am and feel safe, unlike you, since our population is smaller. And you are the one who said everyone else is sheltered, not me, so basically it is ok for you to go around town on alert just not everyone else.

He is AWARE and READY for the threat, but he doesn’t realize that preventing the threat from ever happening is a lot better than dealing with it when it happens(ie, not getting gas at 3am by filling your tank at some earlier point in the day, not living in a neighborhood where it’s commonplace to find a group of men loitering in your driveway, etc).

Oh come on, you think this guy’s ever been in a real fight in his life? He’s trying to sound hard, he’s no Rambo in First Blood.

Have you seen the videos he did with CT? He looked so awkward and you can see how athletically deficient he was even in his lifting, there’s no way this guy wants any part of you unless he has the facelessness of the internet on his side.

damn this thread took a turn…a 4 page debate on a hypothetical situation with no rational outcome…

Well ill join in…my two cents, you would have to give one hell of a description on the phone to concern the police. The original post sounded like some “get off my lawn!!” shit.

people, of any race, typically wont be waiting outside your front fucking door for you to come home. Its mostly snatch and grab, element of surprise kind of thing.

Even on a slow night, a loitering call, different than trespassing, would be like last on the list. You have to make it something juicy if you want them to roll immediately.

Enough race crap …

Smashingweights, please continue …

Trayvon Martin Was The Bigot, Thought Zimmerman Was Gay

Probably already posted in the thousand of pages, but still interesting to me.

Omg I have now almost spit out my food I am trying to eat in multiple occasions. Thanks SW

OK … Enough on race, but lets move forward with the anti-gay thing for a few pages, just to see where it goes …

If it wasn’t Zimmerman it could have been a tree…the tree is racist… internet arguing…
