But for the most part I blame the media.
Lets look at Peirs Morgan. This asshole stands on the graves of dead white kids in CT trying to push the gun grab agenda day in and day out, demonizing a rifle that is less dangerous than a $175 shotgun, all while the vast majority of senseless gun violence is committed in the cities with illegal handguns.

Now had he actually addressed that aspect of gun violence (he doesn’t have the integrity to do this but whatever) maybe we could look at the reasons WHY this violence is happening. Gun control certainly isn’t stopping it, nor could it. The gun isn’t the problem. Economics, politics/money and apathy are much more the cause than a gun.
It is a disgrace that the national media gets all bent out of shape over a tragedy like happened in CT, but ignores the daily tragedy. But, they aren’t 100% to blame. The second tragedy doesn’t get web traffic, because we, as a society, are apathetic to poor people.
My favorite post, after mine of course, was the one about “well if I didn’t hear about it, it obviously didn’t happen.”

If I take what was written in his post, I would have to make assumptions about what his opinion is. The verdict ‘stands firm’ says nothing about if he agrees with the verdict or not.
Now, reading his post I could come to the conclusion that he agrees with the verdict. But, that would be an assumption on my part.
Good post, good article. The Zimmerman trial has succeeded in 1) distracting, and 2) dividing people. Now the government can get away with doing whatever the hell they want without due process and people are too busy focusing on what isn’t there to realize it.

The dispatcher told him not to follow Trayvon Martin, at which point Mr. Zimmerman replied “ok”. Also, you are not legally obliged to listen to a dispatcher. The point about Trayvon Martin’s past is not that he was going to be the Al Capone, but that it showed that given his behaviour, he was the most likely to initiate any sort of physical conflict.
