I’m going to be starting a job where I’ll be doing tons of traveling. I’m worried about getting hassled about the tub of protein powder in my check-in bag. Anyone have experience with this? Should I even be concerned?

Wierd/funny story here though…A friend of mine takes his everywhere…we’ll go to a party for whatever and everyone else will be taking their liquor/whatever they drink in while he’ll have the protein…takes it to restaurants and everything cause he ‘just doesn’t like injesting chemicals from drinks’ or however he put it…I just sorta brush him off when he insists on being all anal
I just went around the world for 3 months; not one question/ problem.

I’ve taken a canister of protein in my check-in bag on tons of flights, never had any problems.
They’ll constantly search my bag to investigate the chap-stick I have in there, or sometimes the random protein bar, but the large canister of unidentified powder? Nope, nothing to worry about…
I feel safe.
