Ummmmm yeah and lets post about bringing a knife on a over sea’s. I hope your homeland security is monitoring this thread and grabs your ip and gets your address and real ID. And when you get to the airport your arrested for acts of terrorism. Have fun rotting in jail without a trial for the next few years.
Wonder if there is any other words I can use to tip off the fbi’s Carnivore or other devices to monitor web traffic and drawn attention to this thread.
Your a dumb stupid paranoid fuck. Go be a cool guy some place else.

On European flights from the UK, they quite readily hand out cans of drink. It doesn’t take much to twist a can until it sheers in half, then you’ve got a rather sharp piece of thin metal in your hand.

There is knife and gun crime happening in the streets every day, should I carry a weapon too?[/quote]
Nope. As a Brit, you aren’t allowed:
“It is an offence for any person, without lawful authority or good reason, to have with him in a public place, any article which has a blade or is sharply pointed except for a folding pocket-knife which has a cutting edge to its blade not exceeding 3 inches.” [CJA 1988 section 139(1)]
jesus christ i wouldnt have thought people get so fucking sensitive over knives. oh, and by the way, i always check my knives. i have never been caught and i olny use cheap knives so that i am have to get searched i can just ditch the knife easily and with little regret.
and like that australian fag that posted said, people hate america so i think going to jerusalem, turkey, and egypt with nothing but my limited combat skills and limited physical strength would be incredibly stupid.
sure, i will probably be safe and i probably am being paranoid but when the shit does hit the fan , im going to be ready.
thanks to the person who psoted the sharkie link. ive already cheked it out but i have decided against impact weapons for the most part.
I actually met a lot of Americans over there and most were great. Even helped me when I got hurt in France (accident not fight) - waited for the paramedics and kept me company.
But a lot of the younger ones were pretending to be Canadian.
Sad really.
I taught them the trick to having the locals like you. Its very easy. Its just one word:
“Wannanotherbeercobber?”
Carry the knife. I hope no one notices it. I noticed something while over in Europe and that was the law enforcment doesn;t fuck around and there sub-machine guns walking around a lot (that just does not happen in Aus).
But you could still walk right up to sub-machine carrying cop and ask directions because people can sense friends versus foe.
If you act like a foe then watch out, mate.
I’m a friend.
Interesting fact, the Swiss have more guns per capita than Americans but everyone is just so nice. I was on the train talking so some uni students and they were just coming back from the compulsory military training and were in full kit with something large and automatic stowed above their heads in the baggage bays. We got to chatting. Friendly guys.
Funniest line:
Me: “Why do you guys have so many fucking guns?”
Them: “To protect our neurtraility.”
the only thing that you MAY (and this is pushing it)need is a dive knife if you are diving at all. I have gotten fishing line around my ankle (braided of course), and it was not a fun experience, considering i was just using a snorkel.
Don’t take it out anywhere else though. Cops in foreign nations are not so lenient sometimes as to carry a tazer. In Israel (and probably other nations), that pissy handgun you see cops carrying is now a submachine gun, and anyone with a knife is a terrorist who will be seeing the business end of that thing rather quickly.
by the way i hope some of the people calling me a retard can see that i am not chaning my mind. i am bringing some sort of weapon with me and the only thing you can change is what i bring.

Your desire to carry a knife makes no sense and offers you a false sense of security. You mentioned limited combat skills, so what exactly are you gonna do with the thing? If the proverbial shit hits the fan, you are far more likely to be outnumbered, get that thing taken away and used against you. A better plan is to remain on the beaten path and with the tours your cruise will arrange.
Oh yeah, if you want personal security you can check out the unbreakable umbrella (google it). At least it’s still useful as an umbrella and won’t likely get you in trouble with the local authorities (who wants to see the inside of a Turkish prison, anyway?!).
