Transwoman Takes First Place

This whole thing is a sore subject just on principle.

The same people who was screaming trust the science during covid .

Now scream science is wrong regarding this subject.

Feeling not facts i guess.

Im guessing for 1. Most who support this haven’t probably never competed in organize sports in their life.
2. Most believe in participating trophies.

Make a trans class/league and let them figure themselves out.

I believe one or two sporting organizations have tried.

Oddly no trans athletes would sign up from my understanding.

It is almost like excelling in a sport against fair competition isn’t a priority at all for these people. If I didn’t know better, Laurel Hubbard might have had some other motivation for competing in the Olympics.

Yeah no shit

This whole concept is a complete cluster fuck.

I chuckle when people ask why feminist don’t step up and defend fairness in women sports. Its pretty obvious
no militant feminist is going to admit that a male might have a advantage biological over a female in certain categories.

I think that some narcissistic male athletes feel that if they aren’t achieving a certain level of success, something is wrong in the world. The option to beat women instead of losing to men gratifies their insecurity with an explanation for their mediocrity.

That’s a good way of putting it, and they get both an internal explanation (it was unfair for me to compete with men who think they are men) and an external explanation coming from everyone in society who is eager to give special attention to formerly ordinary people who adopt this new identity.

The idea that society needs to be consistent with their internal narrative is the really troubling part for me. My local school board disagrees, and we’re all-in on teaching the kids that Laurel Hubbard is a woman.

I find it ridiculous that in some organizations all you need is to claim you identity as a women.

Regarding Hubbard
lets be honest at what 42 ? ( way past ones prime for weightling at that level) The only way he would have sniffed the olympics would be to identify as female . Even than it was a shit showing.

I actually used this case as an illustration of how absurd the entire line of thought is to my school committee and the entire town, or whoever was watching.

Is it true that Laurel Hubbard is a woman? Is it true that the best female heavyweight athlete to represent New Zealand in the sport of weightlifting at the 2020 Olympics was a 43 year-old with a penis?

I don’t believe it is. I don’t think we should be teaching children that it is true, either.

Idk, I’m all for it.

All men should join the fight for equality, by registering as women in every sporting event they can.

Rise up fellow Quings! Together we can topple the patriarchy and replace it entirely with men dressed as women!!

Lol.

Does biology curriculum still cover X and Y chromosomes?

Chromosome are transphobic.

My take on this whole thing is:
Be who you want to be. That’s all fine and good, but if you are the opposite gender, put some effort into making it seem so.
But also, don’t deny the biologic reality that comes inherent with possessing different chromosomes and experiencing seriously different ratios of hormones during puberty.
The thing that scares me the most is the impact that many of these puberty blockers are now being shown to have on brain development. Who could have guessed that inhibiting sexual maturation also inhibited maturation of other important functions? (LOL)

The research has shown that neutering and spaying pets prior to maturation creates health problems. There is evidence than doing these things at any age can increase certain health risks. Many vets will still recommend these procedures, even on young animals, regardless. The point being, trusting health care professionals with regard to health, can be a mistake.

Frankly, transgenderism being used in sports divisions sports doesn’t make any rational sense.

Even if we accept for purposes of the argument that there are 50 billion genders (or how ever many you want) and that people can choose which of them they are at will and change whenever they want, that doesn’t change the fact that biological sex exists. Every single person on the earth can be divided into one of two categories. If you have one or more y chromosomes, you are male. If you don’t have any y chromosomes, you are female. That is the thing that we should use to define bathrooms and sports divisions. Adding a new characteristic that a person has (gender) doesn’t mean the other category (biological sex) doesn’t exist.

How about eight!

I didn’t make this prediction in 2017, but if I had predicted that states like Maine would completely incorporate transgender ideology into both the legal system and public education when I started this thread, someone would have claimed that nobody was trying to do that.

Today I could go sign up at the YMCA or any Planet Fitness in Maine, decide right there that I am now a woman, then go get naked in the women’s locker room.

Doing so is literally a human right in Maine.
