Thatâs nice. Public policy is not set by extremely rare birth defects. Nor does an extremely rare birth defect change what sex you are. though it might make you look different. Try to stick with science. we know what a man and a woman is. Itâs not based on your hormon levels. normal levels are a result of you sex. Your hormones are not the cause of your sex.

Given that only 0.3% of the US population is Trans and then the number drops off significantly in other countries.
US has a population of 320 million. So around 960 thousand Trans people.
Double this for rest of World as its not as prevalent and there is not enough statistics for this.
Rounded to 2 million and the world Population being 7.495 billion as of todayâs estimates.
That puts the odds of someone being Trans at 0.025% rounded.
That seems pretty abnormal to me.

Well, they donât put the modifier Special in front of it. But they do have a separate Olympics for women than they do for men.
Only if one defines male and female with respect to karyotype, which is a definition that doesnât enjoy a privileged status so far as Iâm concerned. But setting that aside, it doesnât follow that someone who is phenotypically identical to cis-females with respect to athletic traits (as is the case with CAIS women) shouldnât be prevented from competing against them simply because of the presence of a Y chromosome.
The main reason is that sex/gender is such a fundamental and important construct for our species.

The default human sex is female. It is only through the action of testosterone (take note: a hormone) that about half of us become males. Thatâs science.

IMO people who support PC culture of hypersensitivity are the ones dying out as many jump ship as the group heads in worse directions. This can be shown in the fact only 8% of British Women identify as feminist as they donât like the label associated with it.
We are both entitled to our own opinions and Iâm sure we mutually respect each others viewpoints.

ED feels like he is on the winning and inevitable side of the culture war. In a sense the political and cultural Marxists have made great strides in this country since the 1960âs. They have slowly but surely made inroads into politics, academia, media, law and education.
One of the core tenets of Marxism is to tear down the existing âunfairâ culture so it can be rebuilt more equitably. This applies to all facets of life.

What âgender reassignment surgeryâ are you proposing for a CAIS woman? And what âhormone treatmentâ does she need? Surely youâre not suggesting she should be reassigned surgically and hormonally to be male, in order for her phenotype to match her genotype.
See above. Absent the present of testosterone (and functioning testosterone receptors), all mammals will be phenotypically female secondary sex characteristics, no matter what their karyotype.
I would seek out TRT because of my gender, which is male. It so happens I am cis-male, so my genetic sex and phenotypic sex correspond to my gender. But such is not the case for everyone.
So now itâs the presence of functioning female reproductive organs that defines being a woman?
