Transitioning Into the Next Thing

Hello,

Well I finally managed to stop being a fatty, but there are several questions for my future. I noticed that if I slip up even slightly the fat comes back to haunt me. I assume this has to do with body memory which takes time to adjust itself to accepting the new fat% as normal.

So until that time I still want to train and gain muscle mass and some strength without gaining too much fat. I’d like to stay between 9%-11%. Bulking and such will be done when my body got used to the new %. What would be a good follow up “diet”? I’m currently thinking about the Anabolic since that is pretty low carb during the week which makes it easy to adapt to at this stage.

Also what type of training would be a good idea then? Circuit training would be out of the question for several weeks since we do that during the V-Diet already. Perhaps UB/LB in super set form?

Sorry if I post this in the wrong section. Got no idea where it would fit best.

Greets.

What kind of diet did you follow to get lean? You mentioned the V-Diet. If you’re carbphobic I would do a TKD (targeted keto diet) where on workout days you have carbs(which adds extra calories) around training. On your off days you consume low carbs. This will cycle your carbs/calories without much effort. If you’re not carbphobic, I would suggest a more generous carb cycle, which would cycle around your workouts.

What do you mean with carbphobic? At the moment I can’t seem to handle more then 130-140grams for some reason. High fats/proteins with medium/low carbs have been working best so far. That’s why I’d like to attempt the AD.

By carbphobic I meant, your afraid to eat carbs because you wouldn’t know how to react. The AD might work. If you knew already, why ask?
