Tomorrow or Friday is start of week 13. Program calls for 380 x 1 on two board, raw, paused. this is a pr. Most challenging thing might be the dls. 515, 575 x 1, then 3 sets 480 x 2, 3 minutes rest.
I meant for the week . Got four total workouts in this week.
Just wanted to chime in here as well. I’m in week 5 with Josh and happy so far. The workouts have been hard but fun. Could not tell you the last time it’s been this long since I maxed. I feel like my strength is going way up but we’ll have to see. He did a diet for me as well and my weight is up so that’s good.
If anyone is thinking about working with someone online I would tell you to get in touch with Josh.
Tom, congrats so far.
Thanks! It’s tough but working . Sometimes it’s hard to describe . You just get stronger .
I know it’s the programming and the work . I’m very pleased with him and his services .

Tom can you list your BWT and age. I am an M2 lifter in the CPU@74kg. Also your location would be nice but not required.

Keep it up, Tom. I am doing Josh Bryant’s limit strength program out of his book, it’s cool to keep up with your training.
Thanks. Squats seemed easy today , but boy was I tired later .
No lifting today . Allergies have me knocked down .
Josh really knows his stuff. It is crazy the results his clients get from his programs. I bought his ebook recently and I was going to use on of the programs from the book, but decided to sign up for his online training and get Josh to write me a personalized program for USAPL Raw Nationals.
Nice job, Tom!
Thanks Phil ! I’ve had a good 50 lb increase in my two bd. Not sure about the ssb since in was squatting sporadically and I was doing box squats with briefs before .
But my 380 could have been ten I think . My deadlift is up I think . My 550 x 2 could have been four . I’ll just see when testing time comes . 585 was what I did in October . Josh thinks 625-650+. What was just get me to 600 is now maybe I should think 700?
360 x 1 was my best previous two bd, but that was touch and go. More like drop, smash , and fly.
His results speak for themselves . I’d classify it as a fuckton of work that forces you to confront your weakness in your programming . Nit just your lifting, but nutrition , rest, stretching etc. After you adapt , things like 515, 575 and 480 x 2, 3 sets three minutes rest between look easy .
Prior to this program I was good for one hard rep before I was shut down . Now I’m doing eight reps with 480+ the next deadlift workout . I never did this kind of work . Then there’s the rows 250 x 5, 3 sets, 445 x 12 for three sets of shrugs
, deficits for 375 x 2,2. Then reverse hypers .
He’s taken my son from a 360 max dl 155 bench and 245 squat, all raw to 280 x 3 in the squat
, 170 or 180 x 3(not sure). And 395 for two in the dl. His weight is up to 160 at 5’8" and he hit a school record in the vertical .
Josh is the real deal .
Definitely a fuckton of work. I definitely need to get my stretching and rest down more. And yes I always look forward to the heavier stuff with more rest and just tell myself that the 10 sets of 3 with minute rest will be over in 11 minutes or so and to just get it done. All and all Josh has been great.
Exactly LiquidMercury. It’s only eleven minutes ! But omg is it tough.
I’m loving the almost lazy max effort days I have now. Yep I used a westside reference and lazy in the same sentence.
Try this take 80+% of you deadlift, say 495 if you do 585. Do triples with 455,495. Then drop down to 390 and do ten sets of triples with it with a minute rest between sets. Then talk about diferent training parameters.
An hour later when you scrape yourself off the floor.
What’s josh’s preference on using wraps? being an over 30 lifter I’ve been very lucky to stay injury free but am seriously considering moving to wraps so I can train well for longer!
He orders raw training but has worked with both. I use old stretched out inzer z wraps loosely because I midplaced my knee sleeves .
Just to keep me warm. I could leave them on for hours if I chose to .
IMO it’s better to lift with than can’t lift . I’m pretty sure he thinks the same .
5/9/11. Jm press 170 x 6, five sets
Mini band pull aparts 2 sets of fifteen
Shoulder box 20 x 15,15,15
Triceps kickbacks 30 x 12, five sets
Leg raise bent x 12,12,12
Straight. X 9,9,9
