Training very frequently

I was thinking the other day. Instead of totally killing a bodypart once or twice a week, why not just do a little bit of a every bodypart 4 times a week. I was just curious what some of the readers had to say about this. A typical routine would be the following.
Workout A.
Legs 3 sets of 4-8
Chest 3 sets of 4-8
Back 3 sets of 10-15
Bicep 3 sets of 10-15
Tricep 3 sets of 4-8

Workout B.
Legs 3 sets of 10-15
Chest 3 sets of 10-15
Back 3 sets of 4-8
Bicep 3 sets of 4-8
Tricep 3 sets of 10-15

ABs and Calves would be performed every day as well 3-4 sets of 8-15 reps.
Workout would go two on, one off.
Let me know what yall think.

Good idea, but it has already been covered in a much more extensive way. Go read the Hypertrophy Specific Training article in issue 217.

I’ve recently switched to a routine where I train upper body 5 times a week; however, I only do one exercise and one drop set per body part per day. So far I absolutely love the system, and have made great gains in strength (since I’m only doing one drop set per body part per day, I can put all my effort into that set; and the variety–5 different exercises per body part per week–is a refreshing change from my old routine).
