You say this a lot. Is memory loss a concern for you?
So how long will you keep up the Trolling?
You keep getting more technical in your resposes. Your starting to show your hand.

How long will you all keep responding?
This is an interesting category
i just mean the typical average guy you never seen dodgeball before?
Im wondering what is your age and how long have you been lifting.?
Well i trully appreciate that. But already have a knowledgeable indvidual with highlevel coaching experience that i go to when I need a second opinion or second guessing myself. If i need more of a hard core scientific break down on the physiological aspect i know a guy finishing up his Phd in the field on speed dial. But again I appreciate your concern.
Im just bored at the moment. Yeah i know im feeding it. BAD habit of mine on these threads like this.
But time for me to be done and walk away before it goes south.
so what is your current program
what tips can you guys share for me to hit better powerlifitng goals
That you need to eat to grow. You can only milk so much strength gains with technical
proficiency, before improvements can only be made with increase in weight.
Edit: I’d also suggest basic punctuation.
I’m confused, so adding weight does help you get stronger now?
If we were to take this seriously, i’m pretty confident a five minute google search could produce plenty of programs better than Madcow.
I can confidently add hundreds of pounds to your total by simply having you do all 3 lifts, instead of focusing on squat and deadlift.
Tips to add pounds to your total.
-
Add pounds to your frame aka eat more.
-
Your accessory work should be targeting weaknesses in your lifts.
-
Check out Conjugate. Look into Westside barbell and a guy named Louie Simmons, he is dead but there are a ton of YouTube videos of his methods.

For online coaching look up Josh Bryant. https://joshstrength.com/
Prior to my last meet I ran Johnnie Candito’s 6 week strength plan. That will add some pounds to your total. Eat in a surplus and run that and you should have no problem breaking the 5 pounds you need for your squat in that 6 weeks. The 25 pounds on your deads will probably take more time.
I have added, gym totals mind you, 30 pounds to my total from March to now running conjugate. This was after running Candito’s and peaking for that meet.
My bodyweight has increased 7 pounds in that time. I also was in a challenge here where I dieted down to 5 pounds below my meet weight for Memorial Day. I could have added more if I had just ate the whole time.
do you need extra calories to increase your squat and deadlift ??? and will you build muscle that way or just the myofibrillar hypertrophy … ive gained a lot of strength weighing the same for a long time which is good too i guess
oh yeah what programs for intermediates and why?
conjugate and variation doesnt work for me so i avoid it entirely, all the support lifts and all their variations and the variance doesnt help me get bigger or stronger or didnt help my squat and deadlift only the basics has worked … again and again forever …i think only squatting and deadlifting helps no variance at all it should be outsed entirely as long as you are still squatting and deadlifting more and more … for instance i never really front squat or zombie squat or ssb squat or rack pull or block pull or rdl … because it didnt do anything for my squat and deadlift…so i myself dont feel like im missing out by not doing it …it is just that variation and i avoid it and tell others to do the same
