Just some light filler workouts nothing worth noting just resting up, eating a TON, hanging with my girl. I just ate 10oz of ground beef mixed with 6 whole eggs and spinach half a huge protein smoothie and some more. Comp next week is heavy so I need to be well rested and ready for it. Let this little nagging injuries heal up so I can kill it.

It is a heavy contest and there should be some 340+lb log presses and 700lb deadlifts in the HWs

walking with 700/800lb yokes 320/360lb per hand farmers walks and loading 320 and 360lbs stones respectively.

hit 260 on my 2nd for an easy 5lb pr missed 270 oh well. 3 way tie for 2nd would have liked to get that 270 3rd to last lol

Yoke went 33ft which is a 12ish ft pr it sucked… just keep on working on it

Deadlifted

opened up at 525 and WHOA got ammonia raped! haha you will see. Got a little to jacked up and once it was close to lockout I lost my footing and stumbled backwards. Thankfully this is strongman and you get 60 seconds to complete the lift. took about 10 seconds and calmed down and pulled a rough grinder of a lift. I had nothing for my next attempt at 550. 525 is still the most I have pulled under 200lbs raw

Farmers walk… 320 each hand

I had never picked these in training. The pick flew up! but My grip just couldn’t hang on. damn midget hands! I id pick them 3 times and stumbled a step or two each time, just enough to get points for the event haha. They were just a little heavy

stones… 330 stone almost got it to my lap BLAH probably the first time I broke a stone that heavy off the ground but oh well. I was the 2nd lightest guy and finished mid pack. I was just happy to hang in such a heavy comp and only 0 1 event. Onwards and upwards…

I try overall it was good but still a lot to work on.

Yeah I try to have fun, and it really is I have meet the best group of people competing in this sport.
