Just wanted to hear your guys thoughts on training the day after very little sleep. I know each persons body needs different amounts so “little sleep” is different for everyone. For my body I know I need 8 hours a night, which is tough for a college student but worth it for my training.
Anyways if I get 6 or 7 hours ill just suck it up and hit the gym the next day. However anything under 5 I usually just go the next day, which works for my 3 day push pull program. I’m gonna start going 4 days a week though so I’ll def need my rest every night. So do most of you guys just suck it up and go, or wait until the next day when you’re more productive?
I think its really just a matter of personal preference and what the rest of your day looks like. I personally wake up at 530am and start training by 6, so if I only get 4 hours of sleep I can probably train but will be dead asleep at work, so I don’t, however if you don’t have much to do all day and you can still train hard enough with limited sleep then by all means do it.
I’ve had 8 hours of shitty, drunken “sleep” after a night of partying, be hung over slightly the next day, eat, take my stims and have a productive session that day.

Lol this. suck it up, go in and do what you can. If you sleep 5 hrs a day everyday and you can’t take it, then you need to start cutting things out of your life that take up your time.
I run on 6-8 hours, sometimes I feel like shit but if you warm up properly and the adrenaline’s going you’ll be fine
