Oh, and the other⦠I visited my fatherās neighbors yesterday (ages 90 and 81). My father died very abruptly just after I moved my family from Texas to Northern New England. I had four kids, ranging from 1st to 6th grade, and the neighbors scooped them right up and took care of them in a way that made the kids adore them (they had two border collies).
They wanted updates on the kids, and I was able to say that, among other things, all of them are well employed homeowners. I could not be more proud. Theyāre also some of my best friends, and along with my husbandās kids comprise pretty much our social lives, because weād rather hang out with them than most other people. Happily, they seem to want to hang out with us and each other, too.
Maybe this should be in a ātrack your blessingsā thread.
Apparently my youngest son has scored commission work with a company called Pazio Inc. Which does the RPG called Pathfinder. Which apparently is the main competition to Dungeons and Dragons in the board game community.
Iāve been off of Olanzapine entirely for 4 weeks. Iām finally making gains and losing weight again. It took me a year to finally get off that horrible drug. The doctor who put me on it to begin with did not mention that this might happen.
The drawback is that Iām still in withdrawal and I canāt sleep without medication. So Iām taking Ambien ER for two weeks, at which point it stops working, then switching to a combination of two monstrously powerful edibles that knock me out for five or six hours.
