Anyone have any recent life-wins they want an excuse to brag about?
Can be about anything, not gym specific.

Promotion at work that came with a $20K raise. (Is it inappropriate to give a dollar amount? If so, sorry). Takes effect this month and bought myself a custom built bicycle to celebrate.
Not at all.
I paid off $68,000 worth of debt in 3.5 years while getting in the best shape of my life and finishing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems.
Congratulations on the promotion and raise!
I got a 84.67% in my physics course that ended yesterday. It was a 5 week semester (same amount of content) but I had to drop it last full semester because it was really hard for me and my school is known for having a terrible intro class for physics
What are yours? We’d love to cheer you on.
My canned coffee brand is about to launch.
Sugar free… loaded with big doses of well researched ingredients. Benefits veterans and 1st responders
I’ll be moving back to SC next month. Lol. Talk about a stress rollercoaster. The school system in NY is dog shit and my son has special needs. We were sick of having to fight constantly for something we used to take for granted. So I accepted an offer on the house and have a pending transfer with work. My family is eagerly awaiting the move back to Greenville.
I reached two years of sobriety on 6/28.
Congrats man. That’s huge
I spoke on it above but in 3.5 years I paid off $68,000 in debt, most of which was credit card debt. I owe about $3k left on my car loan and then I’m consumer debt free.
I officially completed the last of my classes to close out my Bachelor’s degree 2 Sundays ago.
My marriage is back on track and we’re both happy with the new direction.
With all of this in order, the only thing between me and my escape from California is a job offer.
When i sell my house, i anticipate a hundred grand in equity from the sale.
The next house is intended to be a 15-20 year home. The house after that i plan to design and build to my exact liking.
I’m sure you’ve got stuff going on to brag about, so don’t hold out on us!
What’s its name and where do i purchase it from?
We may disagree on things, but this is huge. Respect.
Nice!
Each of those are all incredible life-changing things on their own and you accomplished them all.
You are crushing it! Way to gooooo!
Since it’s ok to drop numbers - I did the math and I’m making $225 per hour. I started at $7. And now I get to determine my own schedules.
My house has between 500k and 600k in equity, according to the super accurate zillow app.
My credit scores all hit 800+ this year.
My special-needs kid has been progressing by leaps and bounds on growth hormone therapy.
I published my first book (still in printing, but I’ll post a pic when I get the first editions.)
Nah, it’s just surface level stuff. I have a ton of respect for you.
Congratulations to all of you that are achieving what you want to achieve. I think it is clear that this is a pretty successful community.
While monetary goals are concrete and achievable, and feel good, I wanted to take a minute and remind everyone that they are not the root of happiness.
I won’t get into my woo woo shtuff here, but having achieved certain goals, I would encourage all to focus on what makes you happy.
My middle brother passed away 23 years ago today at the age of 39 and was worth over five million. He had found peace before passing suddenly, and it was not in his wealth.
My oldest brother is worth over $25M. He is an angry asshole.
So my win is the realization that I am not my job, my name, my body, not what others think of me. My win is that I am myself and that I can just be.
Sorry for the woo woo digression.
Carry on!
Thats a pretty big win.
I want a signed copy.
Sold. I’ll even sign it as Brant Drake so you have the only copy in existence with that nom de plume.
We gotta get working on that grill idea again.
