Toughest Gyms?

I would totally pay money to hear you tell Natalie, Bianca, or any of the other women at westside that they don’t belong there next time you “visit”.

Shit, I’d settle for pictures of mister 8% training 20 years mister hardcore man.

I understand what you are saying, and mainly my post was in Jest. Just to clarify however I am not one of those glamour people u speak of, pretty far from it. But I will say I love people watching, since I work out alone, I have become pretty observant of the people around me and I am amazed by what I see, and I cant help but look at some of the eye candy.

I have to umbrage with what a commercial gym is however. I have to say that while you are absolutely right there are many wife beater wearing, size smedium under armor wearing, young jerkoffs there, there are also those that are serious as well.

Such as myself, as stated before it has all I need the price is decent, and Im not there to bullshit or make a spectacle of myself Im there to do what I love, get out and start again tomorrow. So what Im saying while there is a lot of idiots at commercial gyms there are alos quite a few who are serious and have a passion for this even though it is a dreaded commercial gym

Yeah I work out in a LA Fitness, But shit the gym is fine for me, 2 squat racks and power cage that seem to be open most of the time. I would guess in these “hardcore gyms” I would always have to wait cuz thats all hardcore gyms have is racks and real old equipment, cuz real old equipment means your rough…I guess.

Yeah I have to sometimes wait for the people who curl at the rack station, but not too often. The DBs go uo to 125 (not too shabby) its maintained pretty well, and as many people have said in a nutshell it aint where ya from its where your at espescially at a commercial gym.

And while the cardio bunnies can be annoying most of them are great to look at. I dont know if I want to be at a gym where there is no women, I kind of like it. Yeah, some members are complete douches, but then I would have nothing to complain about and that would bum me out. So all in all I like my gym, warts and all. im not saying anyting about being tough.all im saying its really neat to see gyms like this to exist.these type of owners do not care about money its there passion.la fitness is your typical comercial gym ,just a bumch a glamor and dudes playing with there cell phones or checking out women they could never get .theres a time and a place for women thats why they build gyms like yours.
Damn you’re so hardcore OP. Damn you’re so alpha. get’s boner. Maybe me and Holymac will do an MMM with you.

We’ll do it on a bench. We’ll arch your back and stick it in your pooper. Remember to push yourself ‘inside’ the bench and tuck your shoulder blades together. Do it right, do it westside style baby.

OIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

TO Really take your training to the next level you have to have the right atmosphere…
Sure, atmosphere is crucial. In my experience, the best results come from training on Earth (probably because of all the oxygen)… I worked out in a particularly hardcore martian gym once, but found that the regulars were at a totally different stage of development. In fact, they seemed to be from a different planet. On the plus side, the spotters were awesome (probably the extra arms).

The moon, on the other hand, is a great place to train. The spacesuits are a bitch, but once you get the hang of the low gravity, you’ll never think of squatting anywhere else.

Curves. They made me feel so unwelcome.

The sign on the home page says “unapologetic muscle building elitest”

What’s your point? Slogan is pretentious as well.

I would imagine his point is, don’t expect the perfume you buy to smell like flowers when the name is “ShitSpray9000”

Oh and if you don’t like it, feel welcome to gtfo

That’s an invalid point. I was stating my amusement of all the internet tough guys such as yourself and “hardcore” people around here who try to talk down to everyone b/c they’re insecure about themselves - no where did I state I was complaining about how retarded you all are for being as such. Why don’t you tell me how I can be amused by something and not like it at the same time? Quite the opposite actually.

Dude, shutup.

Case in point.

You’re coming across as an arrogant twat, ok? Did you even read Beans post? His point is completely valid - you come to a site that claims to be full of elitist pricks like ourselves and then bitch about the elitism. You’re like the skinny kids in the bodybuilding forum that “don’t want to get too big”, and feel that they have to tell everyone about this.

Saying you laugh at it is obviously going to get a response now isn’t it? Go chuckle about how we’re so insecure on bodybuilding.com

His point is not valid, and neither is yours. I said I laugh at elitist morons here in response to “red04’s” posts in case you didn’t pick up on that:

As opposed to what, your bench PR of 250?

I also laughed at the part where skinny jeans guy said “I’ve been training at serious gyms for a few years now” and still fits into said skinny jeans.

Here is a guy being a douche and making fun of a couple of individuals, one for apparently not being big enough for him even though he himself is only 205lbs… and then he’s making fun of another guy without even knowing his actual lifts. I found this amusing considering his profile states he is 205lbs. I mean if you’re going to belittle someone for being small, weak, etc, at least be strong and big yourself.

I also enjoy how you’re significantly smaller than me and comparing me to skinny kids. That made my day. Anyone who is actually big and strong is usually humble, and doesn’t have to brag about how hardcore they are or belittle others when they’re pursuing positive things.

I’m not calling you skinny, captain lack of reading comprehension, I’m comparing what you are doing to what they do, get it?

I didn’t say you called me skinny. Notice how it says you were comparing me to skinny kids, you are however lumping me into that category by using that as an analogy. It’s a bad analogy anyway. I’m pretty sure the site is unapologetic elitists re: their lack of concern for people who are against muscle and strength building, not people who want to actually get strong and build muscle. See the difference? I was pointing out people who have an elitist attitude towards those who actually want to train at a serious gym, but apparently aren’t good enough even though they no nothing about them.

The Stupid Police have arrived.
Nice reply, must have took you a long time to come up with such an articulate response.

Is THIS even a thread? What the hell is going on even? One argument is about gyms, one argument is about women, one argument is about elitists, but one conversation isn’t an argument but rather constructive responses which, however, sprang up from an argument. Please, just let this thread go away. It’s not even entertaining anymore.
