16 mg test E daily, nothing has changed recently with my protocol. It’s just odd that my shbg has climbed so high, I’ve never seen up that high
Don’t need SHBG. Worry about how you feel. If I feel great and the test shows weird numbers I go with how I feel. If you feel like shit worry.
You should be able to realize what dose you need for a free t level that resolved your symptoms. From there you’d know if it was high or low. If also fluctuates often. Lastly, I doubt SHBG increases that much in such a short period of time friend. I’ve never seen that happen. Maybe if you have other issues sure, but your Trt should stop that front going wild.
You work get gyno if your hormones are balanced properly. Read up on gyno. It says imbalance of hormones. So many guys increase their dose and gyno stays away.
E2 is not the Primary cause. It is secondary. I know a couple folks whose e2 is 100 with a free t above 25 and gyno isn’t inflamed. If you start noticing inflamation I would take a little more until it dies down. Might be hard for you, but the logic makes sense.
Hows the heart rate and anxiety?
Honestly not that bad anymore. Feels a bit like I’m on an ssri. Just got my new blood pressure cuff in today so I’ll be able to start doing some readings there
I was on the antidepressant wellbutrin (not an SSRI) and was able to come off of it after being on TRT for a while. It definitely has antidepressant effects.
Just took my blood pressure for the first time in a few weeks and it’s at 117/80. Pretty happy with that
Alright so on the 15th-17th of this week i experimented with taking 6.25mg proviron per day to see how lowering my shbg would feel. Not sure if it was the drug itself or its action that caused it, but by the 23rd I felt amazing. Not over hyped or anything, but my brain fog lifted, I feel horny, energetic, basically how I feel that I am supposed to feel. Kind of felt like I did when I was 18 for a bit. I am ceasing this because I do not want to mess with liver values or get in trouble with my doctor, but given my prior lab results how can I replicate this with just the testosterone? It seems the lethargy brain fog is my biggest issue so I am thinking I may try a small bump up to 18mg per day to try and raise free T a bit? Any thoughts?
Yes more T. Higher SHBG is better than too low . Increase dose is the Easy way to resolve symptoms . If your doc won’t you have the wrong doc froend
I’ll go ahead and try increasing to 18mg then and get labs in 6 weeks
Just keep it simple and do 20
7 x 20 = 140 is a tiny dose .
I would like to, however I told my doctor last time I was at 120mg (don’t really know why, but I just was hesitant to reveal i’m on daily injections to him as I’ve had bad responses to that in the past) when I’m really at 112. So I’m going to bring it up to just above the amount I stated I am on for now then if I am still having problems I may schedule an earlier appointment (and then just tell him what im actually on to avoid trouble in the future)
Would a slightly less frequent dosage schedule maybe help with the shbg? Like if I switched to EOD?
Don’t worry about SHBG. If the frequency you’re doing isn’t working try more or less until you find what works better. My SHBG on once a week was 41 and on daily its 39.9. I tried every injection frequency until I found the one that worked best.
For some, maybe. For others, maybe not.
Enough with this one size fits all bullshit.
Seriously. It is a tiny dose he has nothing to worry about.
Raising his dose by 2mg per day is A tiny change. There’s nothing to worry about. Don’t take shit out of context With me.
Nothing out of context here. And watch that mouth of yours.
Wait you start using words like bullshit with me and then you tell me To watcht my mouth.
Lollllll
Valid point

Now that we are all friends again lol, I had a thought today. Everyone says that when you change your protocol it takes about 6 weeks for everything to stabilize again. However, when I run dose changes in steroidcalc online, it appears that once you are on testosterone minor changes don’t take long to level out. Am I missing something here? For this picture I plotted 16mg daily for 7 weeks and then 40mg EOD for the rest of the chart and it appears that it only takes 10-15 days for it to stabilize after that change.
