i have just started using andractim gel (2.5% DHT), a pea sized amount applied directly to my clit twice a day to increase it’s size. i don’t have penis envy or anything and I’m happy being as feminine as you can get without turning into a disney princess, my clit is just ridiculously tiny. I know that this amount of andractim will cause significant growth without systemic effects such as excess hair and voice changes.
The problem is that i’m taking spironolactone (can be used by men for hairloss and women for acne) 100mg daily and i’m wondering if that will fuck up the andractim working. if that’s the case i’d prefer to keep taking to spiro and possibly just apply the gel 4 times a day instead of 2? or if the spiro will stop the gel from doing anything i’ll just have to stop taking spiro because i don’t wan’t to apply something alcohol based to have it do nothing haha
*obviously this is a bizarre topic and i don’t imagine for a second that everyone will take this seriously but I’m hoping that seeing as the the users of this site have such a vast combined knowledge of steroids and hormones that i might be able to get some helpful facts.
you shouldnt be self prescribing medicines… goto a proper gynecologist for proper assessment if your really that worried… and i believe there is a “female section” you could check that out…
or you could ask our member who has a similar condition, installglass for further advice…
How awfully kind of you to take someones issue and turn it into a joke. Twice no less. You are pretty cool! I wish I could be like you!
ASSHOLE
Ell,
It appears that these two things do compete with each other and you may find that to achieve the success you are looking for may take more treatments as you’ve suggested. I’m not sure any of us here can give you a definitive answer though. This is an odd situation. From what I know of these drugs the andactrim is topical and spiro is oral. It may be that while they will obviously be absorbed the andractim may do what you intend for it to before the spiro is able to combat it.
I would highly suggest speaking to a doctor about this though. I don’t think you’ll get flogged by the doctor for wanting to be comfortable with your body. Even if they won’t “assist” you they can probably be more definitive on their answer than anyone here.
Best of luck to you and I apologize for the ignorant people that have made your question into a joke. They aren’t quite grown up yet.

Wow, I can see why your so well liked on this forum…
G0d is correct this is an issue for an OB/GYN. To answer the original question: no. However the amount to produce local effects may be higher than the dose needed to produce systemic side effects - the dose to do what you want is so high that it will cause side effects. The vagina is made of very vascular tissue so absorption will be high. The gel could also damage the delicate tissue of the vagina. You might experience such extreme vaginal dryness that you don’t even want to have sex. If you send me a picture of your clitoris maybe I could offer more detailed advice.
In my opinion, the spironolactone would actually be helpful for what you want to do - by countering the DHT that will without a doubt be absorbed and circulated systemically.

thanks for taking time to think about the question, i really appreciate it. i did see my doctor and an OB/GYN, both of them looked at me like i was a total douche and neither would give me a proper answer because they didn’t support my choice in body modification (my doctor actually just referred me to a psychiatrist)
i know that the oral dose of spiro i’m taking is an androgen receptor antagonist but i was looking for and opinion on whether or not it would block all topical effects of the DHT. i do have an appointment with an endocrinologist but there’s a 3-6 month wait and I’m not that patient.
as for damage/ dryness caused by the gel, it doesn’t sting anymore than some of the pleasure enhancement gels you and buy and is easily fixed with some aloe

That is crazy. I don’t think that is great response by your doctor. Can you ask to see a different doctor?
Sheesh, since I am in Oz too I am tempted to offer my services on rubbing the gel in if you get tired!
Absorption should be good by applying directly, but I will be interested if you can get a localized effect. I would think it would all be spread around your body soon enough after absorption. I would think not as bodybuilders would be slathering theie target muscles if it worked well.
Clitoral growth is a side effect of many steroids and my understanding is irreversible unlike some other side effects for women using steroids. You will have to weigh for yourself the risks and benefits. When I was reserching TRT I ran across FTM boards (female to male), you might look at them and see if anyone has done what you are doing as enlarging the clit is a goal of FTMs.
Wow interesting thread. Cant believe i missed this. I have no advice really, seeing as my clit was oversized before roids and just a small dose of winni gave big results. it’s not permanent though. good luck with the gel. I may try that if i decide to grow a penis one day.
