355!!!!!

That’s damn good, brother! You’re motivating me to train hard just because I don’t want you to catch me. I can’t be out done by a vegetarian for Christ’s sake.

By the way, FORGET ABS! If I were you I would continue bulking and worry about abs in about, ohh, May. You would gain a hell of a lotta size and strength. Just my two cents though.

Keep up the good work brother. And as always, tell Foopa I said hello.

PP,

Normally I’m just happy to take the piss out of you, but I wanted to congratulate you on two things:

  1. On the PRs. Nicely done. Pretty soon you will be able to eat other vegetarians as a food source.

  2. Having a thread without any pictures of you or that stupid looking pet rat that you have.

Nice job.

Very nice work on those PRs, PP.

Keep goin’ and avoid injury over the winter.

WTF are Metabolic Drive Bars?

Same as Grow! bars, marketed for women at F-heit.com

Uhhh no. Have you tried one yet?
Do so and get back to me.
The Grow! bar is palpable; but not candy. Grow! bars pale in comparison to them. Read Berardi’s review of them too. [/quote]

Um, I was informed that they are one and the same. Where is this review that you speak of?

I have similar sentiments. I love my gains but I’m also a single 21 y/o and I like looking good. I look fine with clothes on…but I’d like to look good nekkid. The only issue is that the last time I got to this stage I didn’t look how I wanted to with clothes on…
It’s a trade-off and I go back and forth every hour/day/minute on what I want to do.
I might consider doing short-burst V-diets for one week only using 1-ad and seeing how that works.
But for now I’m just going to stay where I’m at; up my cardio; clean up my diet (I’m odd I can eat like crap for a time period which I do when I bulk so that I take in enough kcals) but all I have to do is whip out a notebook the next and I’m back to perfect.

The thing I’m curious to see is if I can keep my strength gains from the 1-ad this time around.
We’ll see.

I must say though it felt fucking good to need two people to spot me when I was squatting.

I do eat a lot! Even when I cut. I think my mouth is busier than a hooker’s at a brothel.
I’m not posting pictures b/c I’d like to make you all go “GASP” when I show you my results after I cut up. Besides who wants to see Powda when he looks like Homer Simpson?

Thanks!

I think I learned my lesson last year when I injured my wrist. I felt it going and should’ve stopped but I did not. Now around I try to prevent things before they happen. I’m trying to alleviate some future shoulder problems by strengthening my inferior traps. I need to also start working on correcting my lordosis…

Echoing my congrats - that’s really great work. Keep posting.

I heard that bro. I also just turned 22 so I know exactly what you’re talking about.

I’m also the same way when it comes to changing my goals. Hell, just a month ago I was into running a whole lot and now I’m back to powerlifting.

But still, I think you’d be better off long term by continuing to bulk. It wouldn’t take much for you to lean out a bit around April or May, enough to look good for the beach. You’re on pace to bench 405 and squat at least 455 if you do that. Imagine how great you’d feel. Up to you though, just tryin to help.

I have an odd situation. B/c I work so much during the summer I don’t have time to go out then. I went out a total of 3x the previous summer. So it’s better for me to be nice and lean during the school year when I can put it to good use

But 405 would feel good

BTW:
If anyone’s interested in what I look like after this cycle PM me and I’ll send you pics. I feel odd posting them on the forums as often as I do. My back really blew up.

Powda, where do you train? In the Phoenix area?

I’m a weak little bitch compared to some of these numbers being thrown up.

Argh…oh well…I guess I didn’t really worry about how strong I was in the past until I started lifting heavier and heavier and seeing some size gains at the same time. Now it’s so much more fun to see nunmbers go up as opposed to see asthetic changes.

I remember Powda when he first came on here yakking about cutting then bulking and bulking with the use of candy and some shit food…then disappearing for a while…then coming back making a name for himself with Foopa…then looking bigger.

I have to give you credit man. I’m impressed by those numbers…I also seem to think you’re a tall guy with long arms…so that makes those bench numbers pretty impressive. I have increased my bench via Waterbury and I have to say I’m quite proud of myself…but I’m no where near you man.

I can push 225 for 3 when I’m rolling on 10 x 3, but at the end I’m strugglin to get that bar up without spot…and that’s nothin compared to your 300s bench. I can think of like 2 guys that push that much weight around on bench…and they don’t push that much weight around. I’ve never seen them squat…they look at me funny when I power clean…but alas…not everyone reads T-Nation.

Congrats Powder…watch those shoulders!

I’m working on the shoulders (inferior traps).

When I did the WM around the first time I was only using 225 or 235 for 10x3. I did a close grip bench this time around on the WM and was only doing 235.

HAHHAHAHA! Someone remembers my lifesaver diet!
