I was playing this at the gym the other day. I said to a few college guys I was lifting with, “this is a great tune to lift too” they said yeah dude if you are into oldies.

I am 42. Felt every day of it then. Those pricks.

36 Crazyfists - At the End of August
Atreyu - Bleeding Mascara
Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache
Killswitch Engage - Breathe Life
Killswitch Engage - Rose of Sharyn
Killswitch Engage - Fixation on the Darkness
Unearth - Lie to Purify
Unearth - Zombie Autopilot

I dare anyone to listen to these songs by these bands at full volume and not see significant gains in intensity. The best lifting music bar none. [/quote]

I downloaded these Killswitch tunes and fucking hell they are bad ass!!! They are definitely on my playlist now.

Depends on my mood at the time of lifting. Since I’m life at a commerical gym…everything they play totally sucks.

Some days I’ll go old school with Motley Crue-Iron Maiden-Ozzy-Van H or GnR

Today…I think I’m going to go with Pantera-Iced Earth and Children of Bodom…

Tomorrow…who knows…it ain’t here yet.

You have a mp3 site to share the toons. come on give it up so we all can have a taste.

I can’t believe nobody posted “down with the sickness” by Disturbed.

So I’m at the gym on base (Marine) and have Pantera “Vulgar Display of Power” put on the sound system. Some Marine gets “offended” by the lyrics in “F*cking Hostile”. I was like come on dude, it’s the Marine Corps, it’s not like you don’t hear that word every day. Whatever. They had to put some easy listening shit on to please the guy. It’s like we were gonna make love in there. Bullshit.

-Pantera: Walk
-Pantera: F*cking Hostile
-Metallica: One
-Metallica: Sad But True

Good tunes.

Atreyu
Unearth
As I Lay Dying
Avenged Sevenfold
Funeral for a Friend
Lamb of God
Thrice
Bleeding Through
Poison the Well

etc…

Judas’s Painkiller tape got much play back in the ol’ high school football days. Had it in the lockeroom in my basement and in my car… Good times…

Lately I’m listening to Tool, Metallica, RATM, Damage Plan, Pantera, and believe it or not…

AC/DC’s “Live” album. Shoot to thrill baby.

GAINER

Most of the others, pantera, korn, nin, metallica etc…

one unique one I really like is some almond brothers, and my favorite Dire Straights - Sultans Of Swing

Veg, Veg, Veg, - It’s Allman Brothers - unless you are talking about some esoteric indy band, in which case I admit my ignorance and beg you forgiveness.

Mine:

38 Special
Skynyrd
Van Halen/Van Hagar
Theory of a Dead Man
Nickleback
the new 3 Doors Down
Saliva
Disturbed
Audioslave

No songs, just bands and some albums 'cause I have too many fav songs by these guys:

Front 242 (anything - just brilliant)
Front Line Assembly - Millennium & Hard Wired (fav albums from them)
Skinny Puppy - I really like Viviset VI, Too Dark Park, Last Rights
Ministry - The Mind is a Terrible Thing To Taste, Psalm 69
NIN (the earlier stuff)
KMFDM
Pixies

more, many more … but this is just the harder stuff … going in line with the general taste on this thread.
