I’ve gotten to train/meet with a couple guys from here, and it’s always been a fun experience. Definitely nice when you meet people as dedicated as you, or ideally MORE dedicated and advanced than you. Lights a fire under my ass every time. Sadly, haven’t been able to make any meet-ups happen lately.
Wow hungry, thanks for the compliment man! If I make your three then I’m feeling pretty good. It’s definitely mutual, those damn deadlift videos you put out are kick ass!

I’m disappointed about Marauder, I always hoped he’d come back after a while off, but I guess not.

To those who don’t know, Marauder lost a bet here where tempers flared a bit and the stake was “I’ll never post here again if I lose”. Major loss over a little thing. Small comfort knowing he’s a man of his word, but he kept it.
I remember that thread. Was it something about a front squat challenge? Albeit some time before I joined.

Ya 405 for reps challenge, turns out Swolle is a beast.

Too many choices of who I would train with… Anyone near San Antonio/ Austin?

uh my list
csulli
stormthebeach
clutz15 (he doesn’t really post here anymore)

Stormthebeach
Det(no idea how to spell the rest of that)
Any of the OG BOI guys (waylander, Bug, holymac etc)

 1. MODOK because he is huge and he knows how to get the best results in in the gym. and he is a pharmacist, we can talk biochemistry

2)Cephalic_carnage. he knows everything about weight training, I could learn a lot

3)detazathoth he could help me with my bench technique as well as front squat and deadlift. he is probably funny IRL. plus I cannot fathom what a 5’7" guy who benches 405 looks like and trains , thats insane.

Speaking of… That’s another guy worthy of mention. 405x7 FS damn.

 1. Stu - can learn a ton from him
 2. BBB - Great guy, always answered my questions quickly and politely
 3. Synergy - just a total beast and would push me

Ya no shit I thought about that thread when I hit up some monster(lolol) 315x2 front squats last week… only 90 pounds and multiple reps to go! His legs match the performance too, shame he had to drop out of his last contest prep I was so pumped to see him on stage again.

Swolle where u at??? =p

No longer posts here but Alpha would be my #1, 2 and 3. But even the thought of training with that dude scares me a little.

For people who post on here currently, in no particular order:

Stu - Not just coz he’s a pro but he always comes across as a class act.

Chris Colucci - Very knowledgeable and just a plain good guy. I share a lot of his philosophies on training as well.

Spock - It’s been said already but read her log (or even her full previous one) if you want to know why.

I’d love to run hoop with Whiteflash and the other NBA thread regulars.

And I suppose we could lift afterwards.

Alpha
Professor X
Frank Yang

Thanks Stu and JPfrock for mentioning me!

I’d like to train with you guys too, or anyone who thinks I’m an alright guy on here. (God only knows how many people can’t stand me because I used to behave like a moron on here in my younger days, and I apologized for that and do so again here.)

I think it would be cool to train with:

the two guys aforementioned
ebomb
LankyMofo
SmashingWeights
Quasi-tech
MattyXL
Derek
DebraD
Bauber
some others I can’t think of now.

And here I’ll say something surprising: even though I’ve argued with him I would work out with Professor X as, although I certainly do NOT know everything, I believe if he simply listened to some of what I have to say, he would get more out of his potential–seriously!

Forgot to mention browndisaster, waitz, Steely D, savagednation–pretty much all the people who simply just take this for what it is, a lifestyle, hobby, passion, or whatever, and not get so angry or act like Western Civilization depends on it.

More like getting rid of anger and mood problems.

It would be a full house for sure, but gotta go with Bauber, Brickhead, and MattyXL, and mabey ProX to tell us what we were doing wrong. Big weights getting moved, than go and, put the nearest buffet out of buisness. 2cents

Awwww… SAVAGENATION with an honorable mention! Same to you. Hell id pick anyone on T Nation vs the asshats that go to my local Gold’s.

Every kid whos ever posted in RMP and used the words “mirin” and “brah” in the same post.

Nothing to boost my ego like completely smashing all the 150 lb brahs with their shweet aesthetics.
