Top 100 198Ibs Raw Class from 2007-Vurrent

Whether your total is 17th or 25th or some other number doesn’t matter to me it’s strong lifting and something you are rightfully proud of.

Lot of missing stuff on there. I should be on the top #100 list as well but the meet results were probably never submitted.

There has to be more than a couple guys missing on there, especially the random 1500-1600 guys from low profile meets.
This isn’t the complete 100 people. I just stopped at where i was ranked. the only person missing from 1-17 is Ben Rice.
Well no shit it’s only 1-17. That is indicated by the fact that there are 17 people, each with a number next to their name showing their rank.

Also, Ben is not the only person missing from the top 17, so stop talking out of your ass.
First of all you mentioned 1500-1600 guys most likely missing, since you are trying to be a smart ass, you should know 1600 is below 1635, hence it didn’t make the list i posted.
second, i got the list from power lifting watch, don’t come at me if some one else apart from Ben got a bigger number and wasnt put up on the list that i dont know of. Who else do you know of that should be within the list of people i posted?
Third, u shouldnt be talking shit when you arent even close to those numbers. put up numbers, then start barking.

Kyle Messerly (#12) is a good dude and posts on here quite a bit. He’s a friend of our gym.

haha thanks! that total was from almost 2 yrs ago now? I was recently shooting for much higher but had some squat and dead issues and then i stopped lifting for a while. deciding if i want to do meets again. if i do, hopefully that number 1 spot will have my name on it!

Good numbers.

How did it break down between the three for you?

FWIW, I never understood the animosity over powerlifting totals…

Pretty much, i know with the squat part of the lift, some feds you have to wait for a squat command and some feds require a lower hip to knee ratio compared to others. ive heard with SPF some people get a good squat by hitting parallel. Other feds are completely raw(no knee wraps or sleeves) some just knee sleeves. Its pretty much broad, doesnt differentiate between drug tested and non tested either.
Good god. I could not imagine having to wait for a squat command.
I think you misunderstood, the squat command comes before the descent. They don’t make you pause the squat and wait for an up command or anything. That would be insane.

Also, Celli’s 1840 was in an untested fed with knee sleeves. Squat depth was legit. So that is the standard I would go by. I guess if someone beats him in wraps then that will be the new standard, and if Ryan wants it back he can do a meet in wraps.

Nobody was talking shit. He commented on how the thread title says “Top 100” when it should say “Top 17”. That’s a valid comment.

Hit 600Ibs on squat, 412.5 on bench and 622.5 on deads, missed 650 for my final attempt on deads at lockout

I meant you have to wait for a squat command as in saying squat b4 you can descend with the weight, didnt mean it as in at the bottom, lol. But good mentioning that, some one might have gotten confused.

David ricks also did his in sleeves, they can both come back and do a meet with wraps in the 198ibs class, both are monsters

He was talking shit, any way true statement on the ‘tittle’,the rankings are also held by the top 100, thats why i had it say top 100, but only posted 17, not alot of people will know that powerlifting watch just ranks the top 100. May be i should have had the tittle read, top 17 out of 100.

Or just posted “Top 17”.

I don’t know if you’re having a grand mal while typing or if English is your fourth language.
