stfu don’t give me that attitude man. you got atleast a couple of people saying dre is no where near the RAP top ten but you continue to ignore it.

Yes most of his shit was/is written for him.

The day dre beats eminem in a freestyle is the day he deserves to be top ten. 'nuff said.[/quote]

I don’t give a fuck what you say. The Chronic is one of the best hip hop records ever. Period. I could see arguing him in the #2 position, but I think his solo work stands. The man sold 3 million records rapping about some harsh shit in 90s racist America. He pioneered the g-funk sound. He also did good rapping projects with Snoop and Ice Cube. In fact, I think he might be one of the most influential artists in rap period. Rapping and producing.

Aesop Rock
MF DOOM
Talib Kweli
Mos Def
Chicken Digger
Eminem
DMX (innocent!)
Lil Wayne
Kid Cudi
Cee Lo

Okay, not really the best ever but this is pretty much all I’m listening to right now.

Has anyone heard the new album by Army of the Pharaohs - The unholy Terror?? Crazy album…lyrics and productions are on fire. Its a supergroup of Vinnie Paz, Celph Titled, Apathy, and a few others. Check it out

My list, in no order:

Immortal Technique
Method Man
Biggie
GZA
Masta Killa
Big L
Nas
Busta Rhymes
Snoop Dogg
Redman

FUCK DRAKE, LIL WAYNE AND YOUNG MONEY

get that brain of yours outta your ass and listen. You’re being ignorant and stupid, continually. No ones arguing the chronic is one of the best hip hop records ever or that dr. dre is influential. We’re arguing about rappers who’ve made track after track, record after record that is premium quality. If you think Dre, the RAPPER, is top 10, with his 2 albums then you’ve got a severly lacking collection of hip hop music. Feel me?

You’re a damn fool if you think I don’t like Dr. Dre.

I can’t help it. It’s only because of one song- Mojo So Dope. I could listen to that for hours on end. I don’t get it either.

He produced the beats and rapped a little with NWA. That doesn’t count? He’s also rapped with Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube. He might have only made two records but to me making the one of the best rap records ever beats some weak ass nigga who made 10 weak ass records. I mean WTF… I take quality over quantity.

Mos Def
Q-Tip
Pharoahe Monch
Common
Kool Keith
Biggie Smalls
Tupac
Rakim
Slick Rick

… Will Smith.

You were doing so good, but didn’t finish strong!

Yeah, you know I think I would pop a cap in my own ass for that last choice. What can I say, I loves to get jiggy wit’ it from time to time!

Okay okay, I change my last choice on the list to MF Doom. That cool?
