Biggie or Tupac?

Who’s your preference?

Pac

Vanilla Ice

PAC!

Nobody is better than Rakim, so Rakim

Justin Beiber. That kid is gangsta.

Tupac…He was more talented, better looking, kept in great shape, he was a very good actor, and he had the cult of
personality…the man had a rare magnetic charisma still unequaled by anyone in the genre.
No contest.
Biggie was ok, but he was Jabba The Hut by comparison.

Tupac, hands down. Biggie had him on flow but as far as just making you feel what he was rapping, Tupac had that locked.

Its also hard with Biggie because we had such a small sample size, he put out only 2 official albums the second released after his death and i’m not counting the Junior M.A.F.I.A album. Whereas Tupac released 5 official albums, not counting the Thug Life album and the dozens upon dozens of unreleased albums people half-assed and put out.

So we never got to see Biggie hit his stride in his prime unfortunately, would of been interesting to see also how long it would’ve been before both reconciled and made music together again.

This.

It’s hard to give Biggie a fair look because he had not been in the game for nearly as long.

I think biggie woulda been incredible if he could have put out more albums like you said, but the 2 he did put out I love

Generally the volume of work doesn’t equate to being “incredible”.

Bruce Lee and James Dean had only a few films each under their belt before they passed, yet they were both
incredibly talented and left an indelible cultural mark in America and worldwide that still
resonate today.

I hear brenda’s got a baby…

Funny you quote that since Pac always maintained that it was him who originally encouraged Biggie to play up that ladies’ man style/persona in the first place.

definitely did not know that

This feels like the type of question a person should answer without allowing themselves to argue internally. My instant reaction to reading the thread title was “Biggie’s tracks find their way into my playlists way more often for whatever reasons.”

Who’s the best? Pac, Nas, Big…Ain’t no best.

James Dean had only 3 movies.

It could be said that we lost 2 great actors the day James Dean crashed his Porsche, because he was the only one who could give Marlon Brando a run for his money.
