I live on campus at my university and have to work around three square cafeteria meals a day I will usually make a protein shake with oats in between meals and add 5 grams l-leucine
Does anyone know if it is unhealthy to drink 4-6 scoops of whey protein a day? Id like to drink a shake with every meal to make up for the crappy protein in cafeteria food but have always thought it would be too many servings a day
any help would be greatly appreciated

No, whey is food. Is it bad to eat food four to six times a day?
no of course not but Ive also heard that if you eat the same food ex- chicken breast… 6 times a day you can become allergic to it over time
I’ve ‘heard’ that as well, but according to that logic I shouldn’t be able to continue eating whey or eggs.
I think that bit of knowledge is based off of a small piece of evidence blown way out of proportion, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Are you opposed to or prevented from stealing something like eggs or chicken from your cafeteria? I used to do it all the time when I was in college using a tupperware and my backpack. I hated the cafeteria at my uni for their evil ways that I won’t get into, so I was easily able to internally justify my actions. Maybe you can do the same.
It was an all you can eat set up though, and some university’s are the kind where you have to pay for the actual food you take, so in that case it would be much harder. But in the former case, you should be easily able to take food without anyone noticing.
hahah funny you bring that up i actually just started doing that, i also have the all you can eat set up and I stole a sandwich yesterday… aside from feeling like a hobo I felt ok with it
