BONEZ217 - it is NOT easy to pull off that shit in Sweden. I’ve friend who works at the police and I talked about it with him just few hours ago. Someone went OUT OF HIS WAY to make this happen. Or Tony bought some cannabis from the locals or something.
This is a stupid ass thing to do for a lot of reason:
- Bad PR for the entire country
- Let’s arrest every soccer, hockey, track&field player on suspicion.
It is really easy to poke this sub-culture as anabolic is a part of it. It is part of every sport expect some freakin shit like curling, but in BB it is more obvious.
“Hey, we don’t want our kids to have Tony as a hero”.
Incompentecy of that cop or departament is out of this world…
Wait…if he broke the law, they would be flashing his illegal act all over as justification. They didn’t. They let him go after humiliating him publicly. Had they had something, they could have detained him.
Yeah, it does make Sweden look bad. Maybe this cop should have thought of that ahead of time.
They arrested him BECAUSE he was a pro bodybuilder. Maybe they ASSUMED he would have drugs on him. Either way, I hope everyone boycotts the country if this is allowed to fly.
I don’t see anyone from Sweden getting detained here for no reason.

You only get a fine for minor narcotics crimes, eg having used drugs, so of course Freeman was let go after he admitted to havibg used Test, HGH and Cannabis. We´ll have to wait and see if the prosecutor wants to go further with the case. Thousands of people get punished for having used drugs in sweden every year. It is a crime to use drugs here and a urine or bloodsample is all the evidence that is needed for a conviction.
BTW: The police assumed that he had used drugs because he was a pro BB and they were right. Last year the police also assumed that swedish Mr Olympia competitor KjellstrÃ?¶m had used drugs and the urinesamples showed that they were right. KjellstrÃ?¶m got some fines for having used and possesed anabolics. This year KjellstrÃ?¶m got caught with not only using but also selling steroids and will probably get a decent prison sentence…
Like has been stated many times, it is LEGAL to use steroids in America WITH a prescription. This would be like arresting some old woman for “narcotics” because she had Tylenol III in her system after surgery. If they are simply arresting people for using some drugs without taking this into consideration, then the Swedish cops need to makeover their practices.
This makes as much sense as arresting some guy who is 38 years old, but uses testosterone for HRT and lifts weights for bodybuilding…or worse yet, simply arresting any really big guy they see.
