Dave Palumbo and John Romano interviewed IFBB Pro Martin Kjellstrom on their radio show after he spent 6 months in jail. According to him, you can be arrested simply for having steroids in your system - even if you injected in another country and then entered Sweden. I’m not sure whether he was made to take a blood test or just a urine test, but that was his position, and seeing as he spent 6 months in jail, I’m inclined to believe it
Now I remember where I had heard about Sweden and steroids. If I remember correctly this is the country a year ago took a bunch of big guys into custody for “looking like they used steroids” whatever that means. Then they searched their houses and took their stashes.
“When Freeman was brought back to the station, he admitted, “take testosterone and GH! I’m a 44 year old man and I have prescriptions for both!” A Swedish website (Kroppsbyggarstjärna greps för dopningsbrott) reported that a “quick drug screen” showed both anabolic steroids and marijuana were present. Toney had just been in Amsterdam, and admitted that he “took a few puffs and ate a pot brownie! I wasn’t going to lie and then have the results says otherwise!””
Apparently Dennis James is also scheduled to make an appearance in Sweden in addition to Jay Cutler.

Hmmmmm…so the take home message is “screw Sweden, and look what you can look like at the age of 44 LEGALLY if you work hard!”.
Don’t have much to say, and I haven’t read all of the posts but to be really honest, Sundsvall is about the size of my forehead and Swedes couldn’t care less about shit happening there. Although I will admit that Swedes usually tend to point fingers easily when they see larger individuals. I am by now means big, but I stand at 6.3 feet weighing about 230 lbs and have heard at numerous occasions people suggesting that I might have taken drugs or steroids.
Also as an immigrant I must say that Sweden probably is one of the largest nesting grounds for people from all over the world. I happen to live in Stockholm our capital city, and where I come from (A ‘Ghetto’ called Rinkeby) we had in my High School, about 96 different nationalities. I also believe (don’t quite remember the exact year) that a place called Sodertalje (about the size of Hooters in the States) took in more immigrants compared to what you guys in the entire USA took in, for that year.

Also that the male population are living with bad hormonal health that could be better with rx testosterone. Oh wait, its apparently illegal to take rx test?
Maybe a dumb question but do guys who take testosterone travel with some kind of note or card that says they can carry testosterone and use it?
Working at a pharmacy we don’t see any guys that come in for Rx test so I wouldn’t know if there is some sort of procedure besides calling the pharmacy. Even then police need to fill out proper paper work to release patient information.

Throwing around terms like illegal search and seizure or probable cause is silly if those concepts do not exist in Sweden. Unless people actually KNOW Swedish law and their applicable legal standards, why automatically assume that the police violated Freeman’s rights?
That came up as a comparison to american law. The swedish people have elaborated on swedish law. What the cops did to Freeman is not legal. Read the thread.

Dude, we;ve already established that sweden completely sucks dirty balls.
That last sentance is comical. One word. Mexico. Good day.

Anyone carrying narcotics should have their rx with them when travelling across state lines. If you go to the airport with a bunch of vicodin and dont have your script youre going to get in trouble. Theyll call your pharmacy and youll be fine but its much easier to carry the script. Common sense.
I wish it wasnt such taboo in the states for a doctor to prescribe test for medical uses. With how much the medical industry pushes medications on everyone you’d think they would be more apt to prescribe it… Damn steroid witch hunt

Not completely on topic, but have you guys heard about the rape charges brought against Wikileaks spokesperson Julian Assange in Sweden?
The country’s laws are fucked up, shit’s ridiculous.
So you’re saying rape should be legal?
It’s like Al Capone, they knock scumbags for shit they can actually prove (I don’t feel that strongly against Assange though, he is just a very juvenile attention whore, not a super-villain or anything).
