I find the whole “intentional” tanning thing to be pretty amusing. If you manage to get a tan from working or playing outdoors, cool, but the whole laying out thing, going to tanning beds, spraying stuff on, and now, taking certain supplements, all for a darker complexion, just makes me chuckle a bit more. Some say it’s because they look “healthier”. Others do it for contests. I honestly don’t see what is so wrong about people’s natural complexions. In my eyes, lighter-skinned people just don’t look natural when they are showing up closer to my complexion. Hell, I’m pretty dark myself, but you can only imagine just how much darker I get in the summer. Needless to say, it’s pretty bad when you go from dark brown skin to pitch black with purplish hues! Just my thoughts on the matter…
Where do you purchase M-II from? Is it a legal supplement in Japan or do you still have to order it online?

We’re social pariahs.
MT-1 and MT-II are legal (for now) and you can actually get it in the US domestically as a research product, I believe.
All of the peptides and anabolic steroids that I can think of (and I can think of a lot) are legal for personal use in Japan. They are not legal for sale here for the most part, but you can import them. One of the nice things about living here. But don’t think that just because they are legal here that means the Japanese government is somehow more enlightened than the American one. If anything they are worse about “protecting” us. I’m just lucky. Steroids are completely off the radar because 99.5% of Japanese guys have NO interest in bodybuilding or getting big. Most of them are too busy trying to look like women. (<==This last statement is not derogatory, it is a statement of fact.)
are the injections intramuscular, subQ or intravenous?

Usually MT-II comes in 10mg vials. It is typically “loaded” at 1mg/d for a number of days, but this is really unnecessary. UV exposure IS necessary, but it doesn’t take much to experience some pretty unbelievable results. I usually end up getting too tan, and people comment way too much for my liking. I usually use it before a show, but, if very small amounts are used consistently, I think it can be a terrific way to get a nice summer tan without all of the dangers that large amounts of UV exposure entail.
.25-.5mg ED with moderate UV exposure the first week or two. Gradually increase UV exposure after W2 and then drop the dosage (a lot) after your desired level of darkness has been achieved.
It can depend very much on the person. If I recall correctly I was using 0.25 mg 2x/day when I started using the stuff, and by about the two week point I was going out in the Florida sun for an hour or two in the later afternoon pretty much every day. But only once I got past 30 mg of total usage did I have much results at all. Actually I didn’t have what I considered enough results until well past 50 mg total usage. And the tan at that point was not as much as yours.
There are others who have testified similarly on the Melanotan forum.
But then there are some that have had results such as yours.
It is great stuff for those who don’t develop moles from it.

Does it make you achy and lethargic? Mild flu-like symptoms? Especially at the doses you mentioned?
MT II makes me sick to my stomach. Like throw up sick. I can’t tolerate it. Original MT was the same. So maybe I was never meant to be tan, I’m so white, I’m just about invisible.
I’m so pale I’m blue without any tan but that also makes my skin not the best for tanning. I occasionally use body lotion with a hint of sunless tanner in the winter.
I prefer a real tan because then all my leg hairs go really blonde and I don’t have to shave. I always protect my face, neck and hands and I don’t usually intentionally sunbathe but I do enough outdoor activities to get one.

Haha! It is still kinda funny to think about. You look to get darker, and I look to NOT get any darker than I already am.
But you have to be honest…I’m way too fair skinned, being darker makes me look better. I HATE being pale and sickly looking and I don’t find the sunless tanners look good or work well.

Very true. I knew a guy here who was arrested on a minor assault charge. The Japanese police ransacked his apartment and found enough Iranian testosterone enanthate to get a blue whale jacked. I’m talking hundreds of 250mg/ml ampules. They left it as is.
Also true about the men trying to look like chicks. Good god…I saw a “guy” walking around the other day in boots that one of the Keebler Elves might wear.

That mental image is hilarious.
As for the tanning, I’ve always tanned pretty easily but it is usually from shirtless work or running outdoors. I just think it is so boring to lay out in the sun. I don’t know about you all, but after I have been out in the sun for awhile I do feel the increase in mood.
