To Professor X

Nice work today X.

Ahh, I got it I think. Active rest is lighter weights used in place of just sitting down or whatever.

Where a superset you would do both exercises and then just rest as normal.

Yep…and there ain’t no normal rest going on in the vids. I would be lifting different weights if I could catch my breath completely.

Dude, that was how I lost all of that weight in only two months with no visible muscle loss.
Rather than crowding the livespill, how were injuries at 300lb relative to now? Like I was saying that’s like 50+lb of extra fat which you’ve seemed to successfully lose so far (i.e. without strength/muscle loss). I imagine life in general was tougher at that weight. Even just socially, although I know that’s not as big of a concern for you.

My back hurt and at 300lbs I was starting to get sleep apnea. I have none of those issues now.

Other than that, my injuries hurt me less right now. My knees were hurting more back then because of the added weight. I can now train legs weekly…something I couldn’t for for about two years because of knee soreness.

I held that weight for a specific purpose though and wasn’t “300lbs” for that long. I spent over a year at about 285lbs until I dieted down a few months back.

From what I can see, I guess that strategy worked because I usually lose more muscle. I don’t really think I lost any this time.

Long time lurker here, posting solely for the purpose of commenting on this huge drama.

On one hand, I respect and commend Professor X for putting himself out there in the judging eyes of everyone.
On the other, I am very disappointed in him. In both his physique and athletic abilities, which are both terribly subpar and undesirable for someone who has been training for 20 years and has taken prohormones and maybe even steroids.

I hope the backlash from the community only serves as an eye opener for him to becoming a better trainee and human being.

Edit: No offense meant. I just think X needs an attitude adjustment. Enough with pretend you’re a know it all, and all the excuses (the music, my arm hurts, i dont do free weights, i have asthma, this bench is bad, etc etc), it’s very unbecoming for someone in his 30’s.

LOL at being worried about my attitude in the first place.

What’s with lurkers and criticism? Seriously, I don’t get it!

Oh, I get it…just like anyone who acts like the weights we are using is ALL we can lift. They want something to attack so they will lurch at anything. That is why it is mostly coming from guys who are known for trolling or “one post wonders” who pop in and out.

I guess when we’re completely dettached from the drama, we don’t have to hold back or stick up for e-buddies, and can call it as we see it

But anywho, back to the lurking hole it is with me.
I just think it’s a strange character trait to exhibit. Why not post more? It’s like one of those dudes that noone’s seen before walking in, watching for a while, then making a comment, and then leaving with the belief they’ve made a difference never to be seen/heard from again. Strange. That is all.

I didn’t erase your post. What are you talking about? If it is gone, one of the other MODs did it.

X u looked a beast doing that flat bench. All the people saying you’ve got imbalances and ur not big enough etc.

So what? U aint a pro and i dnt think you are tryna be. You lift because u like it and its a hobby, pretty much the same reason as the rest of the guys here.

I said you were carrying way too much bodyfat and have an unbalanced physique, and therefore my criticism wasn’t directed merely at the ammount of weight used, as you implied.

I don’t see why that is worthy of being erased.
Whatever.

OK…you done? I am also working with a very good coach and am working on any shortcomings. What else is your point…and why are the people calling me out the guys with either no pics…or guys with imbalances themselves?

Why is your post count still 1 after 3 posts?

Yes, I am done, Professor X.
I hope you enjoy your training with CT and better yourself. Good luck.

Edit: In response to spar4tee:

I have no idea why my post count is messed up. I wonder if it’s because of my posts being erased.

Where are the guys with perfect proportions who are calling me out? I haven’t seen one yet.

Why make that the point…unless YOU are perfect?

Glass houses, and all that.

Stop whining my edit didn’t go through either

hmm this perplexes me. What exactly are you referring to? I have some assumptions but am still curious.

I deleted your recent posts because you chose to create this new account after posts under a previous username were also deleted.

Constructive criticism is, obviously, allowed in this thread. However, pointless and argumentative trolling will not be tolerated.

In any case, you’re done posting under this name.
