To Bill Roberts on timing......

Hey Bill, there have been some sub-thread questions about timing the Mag-10 dosage. So I wanted to put a thread up to find out just what was is the optimal time to take Mag-10?

Bump. But I think Bill said something about the halflife being long enough so you don’t to take it right before a workout. Can’t remember though.

It hasn’t been possible to measure half-life
yet because there is not yet an assay developed
for Androst-1-ene. It’s reasonable to expect
that the half-life ought to be long enough
to enable once per day dosing, with the
time of day not mattering. I do want to know
for sure whether in practice that is so
before making a dogmatic recommendation.

In the meantime, if used once per day, before
a workout would probably be the preferred time.
If you can divide the dose into two per day,
that may be pointless trouble, but on the other hand, would cover the bases in case it turns out that blood levels from single dosing vary with time more than one would expect.

Would there be any benefit to taking a full dose twice daily about 12 hours apart?

Unfortunately, dose/response data is something
that takes a little while to collect and
with, preferably, quite a few people. Right
now we’re not sure if two doses per day 12 hours apart adds benefit, or is overkill. The label recommendation is that you can take one dose per day, or two if you like. For cost reasons, I’d recommend starting with one, and if your diet and training is as it should be and you are in ANY way not knocked out by your gains within one week, increase to two… but if pleased with results from one dose, save your money!

No point in overkill. We should fairly soon have an answer on whether two doses is overkill or not.
